The charity principally provides education and care for children. The charity also provides after school care and holiday clubs from 7.30am to 6pm and is open for 48 weeks of the year.

An open access 7 acre children's playground and children's centre with an after school club and holiday activities and sports programme for children up to 16 years and a youth centre for 13-19 year olds. 1000 children daily in summer from diverse local community of south Camden. BS3 Community Development Association (formerly Southville Community Development Association) is a local charity supporting community development, providing a nursery & pre-school, out-of-school clubs for children, toddler group, day opportunity service for older people, rooms available for clubs, classes, local business & others, a cafe & catering service.

We provide a range of support services for women and children who have experienced domestic abuse. This includes emergency refuge accommodation and supported housing at our move-on . We also provide a range of specialist services for children affected by domestic abuse, including after school clubs.

We also run 'Acorns Out of School Club' which includes a breakfast, after school & holiday club that caters for 2 to 11 year olds, where we provide a wide variety of child led fun activities.

The aim of the pre-school is to enhance the development and education of children primarily under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.
