Childcare Charities

We meet as a church on Sundays at 10.30am. and 6.30pm. and welcome anyone to join us for singing and reading God's word and listening to a message about what the Bible says.On Thursdays we have a Toddler group that meets at 10.00am. where the children can play in a safe environment, there are other activities as announced from time to time.on the second Tuesday there is an open Lunch club.

Pre-school for children 5 years and under

Little Bears Pre School CIO is a CIO committee ran Pre School. We offer places to children age 2 years to school age. We are open 30 hours per week so that parents can use their 30 hours of free child care with us. We run a toddler group on a Wednesday afternoon for parents/carers to bring their 0 - 4 years olds to and stay and play with them.

Provision of a setting offering affordable childcare to local children aged between 2 years and school age.

Providing grants to a charity based in Albania who provide meals and support to the elderly, support to families through a Family Link Programme and support and education to children through kindergarten all generally based in/from day centres. Also support other projects on an adhoc basis.

An evangelical church known as Garston Community Church reaching out to the local community, catering for young and old with, Kidz Klub, Youth Club and Seniors Club. Also supporting other local initiatives, advancement of the Christian faith, spreading the Gospel, providing Christian education. Supporting other ministries abroad, orphans and the needy mainly in India.

Help is given by members to the Prison Play Area at Leyhill Prison; to the Mother and Baby Unit at Eastwood Park Prison; to Parenting Courses and to a Child Contact Centre at Cheltenham and at Gloucester. Some branches run mother and toddler groups in their parishes and some assist with marriage preparation courses and run lunch clubs for the elderly.

We run the village playing field for cricket, football, tennis, bowls, scouts & children play group. In addition we now own & run a 6 & a half acre wildlife site next to the playing field - 4 acres meadow 2 acres woodland. This is called the Alderbed Meadow Project.

Pre-school

We provide facilities for all sections of the local community, from sporting events to social functions for senior citizens. Toddler/pre-school facilities, religious groups, guides/brownies all operate from the centre, in addition to several public functions each year for the whole community. Many of the groups are able to expand their activities with our help.

PLAYGROUP FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 TO 5 YEARS.

At Bradford Abbas Pre-school, our aim is to provide positive experiences for our children in a safe, secure, happy and stimulating environment. We aim to enrich their lives and their learning through play within a relaxed atmosphere. We welcome our children and their families into our organisation, valuing everyones needs as individuals.

The main aims of the Pre-school are to enhance the development and education of children in their care. We are committed to developing each child emotionally, socially and physically regardless of their culture, ability or race.We aim to provide a safe, friendly and stimulating environment in which each child is encouraged to explore and discover.

Over the last 12 months, due to covid-19, activities have been curtailed. There have been fewer day visits and events administered however, each year group has visited Irchester Country Park and we have had fund raising activities in school which supported Comic Relief and Children in Need. There have been no residential visits and Breakfast Club has fewer children attending

St Matthews playgroup operate as a non- profit making organisation and are registered with OFSTED.The playgroup is committed to the care and education of children from 2 to 4 years of age and provide a wide range of activities both indoors and out that comply with current early years regulations.

Saltney Small Steps is a well established Playgroup/wrap around setting situated in a self contained room in Saltney Ferry CP School. We aim to support children in their growth and development whatever their age or stage of development. Our aim is for children to enjoy the challenges of learning through play.

Local Village Pre school

we are an OFSTED registered early years provider. The service is provided free for 15 hours per week to all 3 and 5 years old and to disadvantaged 2 year olds, living in Hackney . It is also provided at a reasonable cost (currently ?4 per 3 hour session ) to other 2 year old and 3-5 year old who access their free 15 hours at another setting.

To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for their children through community groups.

Playgroup, an environment where children learn through play

Belwood Playgroup is a local early years setting, running from the Public Hall in the village of Belton. Providing care and education for children from 2yrs - until nursery age. we are registered with Ofsted and the local authority and can also provide places for funded 2, 3 and 4 yr olds, running term time, Monday, Wednesday and Friday 9.00am-3.00pm.

Cylch Meithrin Cynwyd is an affordable childcare provider in Denbighshire. We offer childcare to 2-12 year olds including breakfast and after school club, as well as an all day care service. We have recently relocated to the local church hall, and operate between 8am-6pm. Our aim at Cylch Meithrin Cynwyd is to provide affordable childcare through the medium of Welsh.

We are rural community playgroup who are passionate about child development. We work closely with our family's and celebrate diversity within staff and the family that attend. We supply learning through play activity's that are tailored to the individual child. We accept children from 2 years old and can cater for all needs, and accept all government funding.

The Pre-school works within the EYFS Framework offering play, education and care facilities for children age 2 to rising 5 living in Bungay or the surrounding villages within the Waveney area of Suffolk.The Pre-school offers 30 hours of childcare a week. It is open during term-time Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm. The term dates are aligned with Suffolk County Council and Bungay Primary School.
