Platgroup-look after young children

Squash Squared provides after-school squash coaching combined with extra curricular educational support to deserving children in the London area who may otherwise not have the means to access these services. These activities are conducted at selected squash clubs and financed through donations and fundraising endeavours.

Lostwithiel Preschool, Baby & Toddler Group is run by a managment committee of parents and affiliates in Lostwithiel. The aim of the preschool is to enhance the development and education of children under school age in a community group setting.We hold a Baby and Toddler group once a week at which we welcome parents and their children to enjoy a range of activities and meet similar aged children.

VILLAGE PRE-SCHOOL, PROVIDING PRE-SCHOOL CHILDCARE FOR CHILDREN AGED 2 - 4.THIS SETTING IS BASED IN THE COMMUNITY ROOM OF THE SCHOOL AND OFFERS ACTIVITIES BASED AROUND THE EYFS STATUTORY GUIDANCE, INCLUDING PERSONAL AND SOCIAL SKILLS, PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT, LANGUAGE, BOOKS, PUZZLES,CONSTRUCTION AND NUMEROUS ACTIVITIES BASED AROUND AREAS OF LEARNING.

We aim to provide a happy stimulating and safe environment in which all children can learn through play with adult support and encouragement. Our activities in relation to these objectives are learning through play, eg. painting, Lego and outdoor play, group stories and songs and discussion times.

Childcare facilities during term time for children aged 2 until they they start nursery school at 3 years.

We fund after school music clubs which include a Samba band & violin & guitar classes. The children then have opportunities to take part in local festivals & community events, giving them confidence & enthusiasm to learn an instrument. Our organised events include both Xmas & Summer fairs, which provide fun for the kids & a chance to raise money for the school.

Hyde Pre-school is a community run pre-school playgroup, operating under the Pre-school Learning Alliance constitution 2011, for children aged 2 to 5 years old.

To promote, maintain, improve and enhance the care and education of children by providing the necessary facilities for the daily care and recreation of children aged 3-14 during out of school hours and school holidays.To advance the education and training of persons in the provision of such care and recreational facilities.

Play school for 2 year olds up to 4 year olds

We are a Charity Montessori Pre-school that is currently operating in Tavistock where St Peters School is located, we provide learning for 2-5 years old following the Early Years Curriculum with Montessori ways helping them prepare for primary school and life, this is a more independent way of learning and is proven to help with self confidence and esteem which benefits the children.

Cylch Meithrin Bryn Tabor is a Welsh medium pre-school play group based at Ysgol Bryn Tabor, Coedpoeth near Wrexham providing educational services for children from age two.

The charity provides access to nursery education in a rural area. Trained and qualified early years practitioners work with children to support them in achieving the early learning goals for the seven areas of learning and development within the EYFS. Staffing ratios that are required by law are adhered to. The opportunities are tailored to meet children's personal learning and development needs.

To enhance the development and education of children under statutory school age by encouraging parents to understand and provide for the needs of their children through community groups.

We raise money for the Leonard Stanley School. We buy much needed equipment for the school such as: playground & computer equipment.ICT software, books for reading schemes & upkeep of the swimming pool.We subsidise school activities eg.coaches for Christmas pantomine and the year 6 trip to PGL.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN IN NEPAL BY PROVIDING SUPPORT TO A VARIETY OF EDUCATIONAL PROJECTS . CURRENTLY TO IMPROVE TEACHING AND HEALTH EDUCATION IN SCHOOLS IN A REMOTE PART OF DHADING PROVINCE - PROVIDING 6 AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS - SPONSORING STUDENTS FROM THE TEA PLANTER'S COMMUNITY NEAR MAHESHPUR AND DEONIA, AND SUPPORTING THE WORK OF KUMBESHWAR TECHNICAL SCHOOL IN PATAN.

First Step is a multi racial project providing community based informal and accredited learning/volunteering opportunities for women and young people. All our activities are underpinned by a person centred, holistic and democratic ethos and backed by equality of opportunity access and actions including an onsite creche, language and mentoring support, a safe environment and full disabled access.
