TO PROMOTE SAFER DRIVING & RIDING ON THE ROADS

The club provides puppy socialisation and basic obedience classes for dogs and their owners on a weekly basis. We offer help in understanding and solving problems relating to dog ownership and also help organise and attend local events where we can promote understanding of dogs and of responsible dog ownership.

East Sussex Advanced Motorcyclists is affiliated to the IAM RoadSmart and provides mentoring to all motorcyclists in the East Sussex area to enable them to pass the IAM advanced motorcycle qualification test. In addition the we advise/educate on road safety issues to the public and hold/partake in events to increase awareness of road safety issues and training available to make public roads a safe

The aims & objectives of the council are to:- A; Support its constituent members in reducing the number of road traffic casualties in the council area by educating the public in road safety & lobbying for change where appropriate. B; Support individual constituent members in reducing the number of road traffic casualties in the council area where the council deems it appropriate.

The objects of the Group are for the public benefit to promote the improvement of the standard of driving and the advancement of road safety.

Motorcycle Group member of Institute of Advanced Motorists, aim to promote road safety by riding/driving to a high standard.

To provide guidance and encouragement to improve the standard of driving in the local area.

Works to improve driving standards and road safety

Fund raising through various events and grant applications for the up keep and development of bridleways to provide off road facilities for the community. Highlighting Road Safety Issues in relation to equestrians.

Northumbria Advanced Motorcyclists (NAM) is a affiliated to The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). Our main aim is to promote safe riding. Our volunteers train riders in the Northumbria area to reach an advanced standard which is recognised by the IAM. NAM also promotes social activities and charity fundraising for local charities.NAM works closely with the Police and Fire and Rescue Services.

Advanced motorcycle training in line with IAM policy.

The relief of motorcyclists and their families in need hardship or distress in great Britain in particular but not exclusively by providing financial and practical support after fatalities or serious injuries caused by road traffic accidents

We are a Parish Council, looking after the residents of Nettlestead in the areas of road safety, planning, recreation facilities, environment etc.

We have fully trained observers (for both cars and motorbikes) in the Aylesbury Vale area who can offer one to one guidance leading to the nationally recognised IAM advanced driving test in the Aylesbury Vale area. We promote Road Safety and better driving through publicity, events and education.

Road Safety Organisation

1. Giving practical road safety advice and guidance to prepare drivers to take the The Institute of Advanced Motorists Advanced driving test.2. Provide speakers to give road safety talks to interested bodies and recruit members of the public for activity 1 (above).3. Produce an informative Group newsletter for all Group Members with road safety advice, tips and news.

Driver training up to IAM advanced driving test standard.

The group prepares motorcycle riders for the Advanced Riding test. We cover South Lincolnshire from Sleaford to the county boundary with Norfolk at Sutton Bridge and from the county boundary with Cambridgeshire up to Skegness and Horncastle.

Affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), we support improvement of driving standards and the advancement of road safety. We offer motorists guidance in preparation for the IAM's Advanced Driving Test, skid control training in partnership with a specialist provider, Motorway guidance. We participate in local road safety activities and aim to support young drivers where we can.

To facilitate the training of motorcyclists who already hold a full licence and own a machine capable of maintaining the national speed limit, to achieve the riding competencies required to pass the Institute of Advanced Motorcycle Riding Test. This activity is carried out in the Middlesex area by members of the Group who have achieved or are training to be IAMRoadsmart/IMI National Observers.
