Northumbria Advanced Motorcyclists (NAM) is a affiliated to The Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM). Our main aim is to promote safe riding. Our volunteers train riders in the Northumbria area to reach an advanced standard which is recognised by the IAM. NAM also promotes social activities and charity fundraising for local charities.NAM works closely with the Police and Fire and Rescue Services.
