We hold seminars to share best practice with similar towns and we make recommendations to the local councils on the physical and economic development of the town. We publish educational books on the local environment and we support local schools in their citizenship curriculum.

Maji Mazuri UK exists to support the work of Maji Mazuri in Kenya, including a Youth Group, Teenz Group and Nursery School in Mathare Valley slums in Nairobi and a residential home for disabled, orphaned and HIV positive children.

Winchcombe Green Town promotes, for the benefit of the public, the conservation and improvement of the physical and natural environment in Winchcombe and surrounds by raising awareness of the causes and impact of climate change; encouraging practical steps to mitigate the effects; promoting biological diversity; promoting sustainable economic growth and regeneration; education in these subjects.

With respect to the River Quaggy and its tributaries QWAG:(a) identifies and promotes opportunities for restoration of the river corridor.(b) monitors developments affecting the river corridor to ensure improvements are achieved.(c) promotes an understanding of urban rivers as community assets.(d) informs a wider audience of our work as an example of community-led regeneration.

We raise funds to support sustainable development projects in economically disadvantaged communities as a way to improve the conditions of life and achieving economic growth and regeneration. Current focus is introducing the drip irrigation system of agriculture in rural communities in Zimbabwe - sourcing drip irrigation equipment, training farmers on the system and promoting community cohesion.
