A local group covering the Borough of Stafford within the County of Staffordshire we are volunteer members who want to improve life for those of us who need dignified access to town centres, shops offices and government buildings as well as parks and the countryside. ACTIVIES FOR YEAR 07/08 INCLUDED FLY TYING COURSE AND PLANTING OF A FRUIT AND NUT HEDGE TO PROVIDE A WILD-LIFE HABITAT AND ALSO A WILLOW ARBOUR BENCH FOR PEOPLE TO ENJOY. WE HAVE ALSO BEEN WORKING ON WALKING LEAFLETS TO PROVIDE BOTH LOCALS AND VISITORS WITH CIRCULAR ROUTES THEY MAY WISH TO TAKE THROUGH OUR COUNTRYSIDE. WE ALSO HELD A BREATHING PLACES OPEN DAY AND TOOK PART IN THE VILLAGE GALA DAY

To support the running of talks/workshops/courses/events aimed at educating people, particularly those living in west Cornwall, in subjects relating to farming, conservation, and country crafts. The majority of the activities will use the facilities of Bosavern Community Farm. Also to support improving the facilities at the farm to enhance the education experience for learners/participants.

Reignite Action for Development empowers rural African communities to break out of poverty cycles. We settle in a community, learn the issues and meet every established organization, before collaboratively devising a comprehensive multi-sectoral 5-year programme to reignite their self-belief and willpower and to harness local human potential and natural resources to propel sustainable development.

Approximately 1 acre of land was presented to St Cross South Elmham Parish in 1854 as a "recreational Allotment".This land has never been used for recreational activities and has almost always been let for agriculture.The rent has been used to support village activities and fixtures and fittings and for the benefit of St Cross residents for educational purposes.

The primary function of the charity is to make grants to individuals to support activities outside the normal curriculum such as study visits. The second function is to support the provision of community transport in this deeply rural area.

Provides support to members of Derby Mountain Rescue Team, a charity which saves lives and alleviates distress mainly in upland and mountainous areas and which additionally undertakes searches of lowland and rural areas for missing persons when requested by the Police.

Trinity Centre is a social activity centre for older people in Whitby and the surrounding rural area. The centre aims to combat social isolation amongst the lonely and disadvantaged older people of the district by enhancing a person's self worth by the provision of activities and events that encourage people to develop new skills, make new friends and feel a valued member of the community.

We are a small, locally based charity, which is heavily inclined to rural crafts and practice within the community. We offer education and knowledge within the arts, culture, the environment, conservation and community heritage within Holy Island.

Activities, including films and quizzes to engage members of the community in a rural setting and raise funds to repair/improve the building and grounds for community use. Trustees have regard to the guidance issued by the charity commission on public benefit.

The income of the Fund is to be used for the provision of prizes for students attending the course in agriculture organised by the Pembrokeshire Education Committee.
