We work with local organisations to devise and deliver water solutions in water-stressed rural schools and communities.

The Charity has constructed a Maternity Hospital in Ukana, a remote rural town in Enugu State, Eastern Nigeria. Its completion has made available a local hospital that serves all the neighbouring towns. Babies are being delivered there with the support of trained midwives. The Charity is now in the process of trying to acquire essential medical equipment and still needs ongoing financial support.

The GFMI is committed to enable worship gatherings. Our services include prayer and the word of God, music and other Christian activities. All are welcome - there are frequently organized conferences, crusades and workshops; projects involve agricultural development, called, 'hands on to eat'. There will be magazine which will update the community about the activities.

To advance education in Rwanda, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of funds for the construction of classrooms, related infrastructure, learning materials and support for teaching, in order to improve children's access to quality Pre Primary education in rural areas of the country.

We hold an annual Dairy Festival on Weston super Mare beach lawns to educate and encourage families and holiday makers to learn about agriculture and all trades connected to it

The Charity collects and archives information about the history of the former Wetherby Rural District. This is used to support talks to local organisations and local exhibitions. The Charity has links to local organisations and offers help and opinions on matters relating local history. It has a rented office and storage facility in Wetherby to enable it to continue its work.

Recreation, leisure, social and environmental activities on a Green within a small housing estate in a rural community in Eden District, Cumbria.

Awarding travel scholarships on agricultural research projects by reference to the Norfolk Agricultural Station, its successor bodies and other similar institutions.

Providing people with disabilities and their carers with the opportunity to ride, carriage drive and be with horses as a means to access countryside and the natural environment for their health and well-being.

The DPA works for the protection and enhancement of the landscape, antiquities, flora and fauna, and cultural heritage of Dartmoor. It protects public access, opposes inappropriate development and supports traditional hill farming practices. It provides opportunities for members to gain greater understanding of the moorland environment and to undertake conservation work.

The charity is not active. The activities of this charity are now carried out through charity number 1089685 the Campaign to Protect Rural England.

WE RAISE MONEY FOR OUR PARTNER INDIA CENTRES (WWW.ANANDWAN.IN). WE HAVE BUILT AN IT AND ENGLISH LANGUAGE SCHOOL IN RURAL INDIA. THE SCHOOL TRAINS BLIND, DEAF, DUMB AS WELL AS ABLE BODIED STUDENTS IN IT SKILLS. WE HAVE RECENTLY BUILT A HOSTEL THAT ALLOWS DISABLED AND BLIND PEOPLE FROM ALL OVER INDIA LIVE IN OUR CENTRES WHILE THEY STUDY IN THE SCHOOL.

The main activity of the Association in the past year has been:1.To promote the advancement of agriculture, horticulture, rural crafts and the breeding and rearing of livestock. 2.To hold an annual show for the exhibition of livestock, farm produce, horticulture produce, machinery and implements. 3.Generally to encourage education, skill, industry and good husbandry in agriculture.

The principle objective of the Trust is the conservation of the land and buildings of beauty and historical interest within the Guiting Power Parish and elsewhere, especially within the Cotswold Hills, and is extended to include preserving the local rural and visual character and amenities of the area.

WE ORGANISE ACTIVITIES OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL NATURE, MAINLY WITHIN THE PARISH OF IVER. THESE INCLUDE CLEARING FOOTPATHS, PONDS AND AREAS THAT HAVE BECOME UNTIDY WITH RUBBISH. WE ORGANISE WALKS THAT SOMETIMES EXTEND INTO NEIGHBOURING AREAS. WE MAKE SUBMISSIONS TO THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES ON PLANNING MATTERS THAT AFFECT OUR PARISH.WE ORGANISE TRIPS TO HOUSES AND GARDENS AND ALSO EVENING TALKS.

A rural youth movement for members aged 10-26 years, where members can gain confidence, learn and achieve in public speaking, drama and entertainments, sports competitions, stockjudging and stock showing/presentation, dancing, meetings and social events. Members run their own clubs and fundraise.

To promote the welfare of the young people and children living in Capel and surrounding area. Being a rural area the Youth Club provides an outlet for young people to meet in a safe and secure environment .

A small group of 10 - 16 year olds who meet on a fortnightly basis. They have a varied programme of events and competitions.
