Our aim is to raise money to sponsor the training of health professionals, in their own country, to work in poor rural areas. Our first project involves raising money to sponsor the training of nurses to SRN grade in Cameroon, W Africa. 5 new nursing students sponsored this year, bring our total up to 83.We have also sponsored two nurses in Uganda to upgrade from basic nursing to SRN grade.

AAFO currently Operates in three countries (UK, Uganda and Kenya) offering services to orphans and disadvantaged children. West Cheshire Rural u3a is a small group serving the villages in rural West Cheshire. We are a group of individuals of varied backgrounds and interests, who are no longer in full-time employment who come together to and learn together, not for qualifications but for its own reward.

General charitable purposes working with people aged between 10 and 26 in various activities to include education, training, sport, recreation and activities associated with the topics of animals, the environment, conservation and heritage.
