PROMOTE COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES IN A RURAL AREA.

Gayle Mill Trust volunteers operate from a barn workshop, agricultural shows, community facilities and customer premises. The activities include: timber processing, manufacture of wooden products, repair or wooden items, heritage skill courses and manufacture of traditional wooden implements.All proceeds, net of overheads, are distributed to local charities.

Working in Nepal to advance education, relieve poverty, preserve and protect the health of poor communities, conserve, protect and restore the natural resources, beauty, plant and animal life through rural community development and conservation projects, work with local organisations to promote disability rights issues and to enable disabled children to achieve their potential.

BARNARD CASTLE YOUNG FARMERS CLUB IS RUN BY YOUNG PEOPLE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED FROM 10-26 YEARS. MEMBERS OF THE CLUB TAKE PART IN A WIDE VARIETY OF ACTIVITES SUCH AS QUIZS, STOCKJUDGING, BOWLING AND PAINT BALLING AND MUCH MORE. DURING THE YEAR WE HOLD MANY FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO RAISE MONEY FOR OUR CHOSEN CHARITY WHICH IS PICKED BY OUR MEMBERS.

The Charity provides a Village Hall facility for the Sheepscombe community. It sustains the good housekeeping and the sound financial controls to make the hall a centrepiece to the social and school life of this rural community. Further, it continues to develop the grounds and building amenities for its users.

A YOUTH DEVELOPMENT ORGANISATION RAISING AWARENESS OF THE COUNTRYSIDE

Chase YFC is affiliated to the Staffordshire Federation of Young Farmers Clubs, a rural youth organisation for anyone aged between 10 and 28 years of age. The Club meet regularly in and around the Haywoods, Milford and Brocton area of Cannock Chase and organise a varied programme of events including sports, training, talks, visits and social events, to name just a few!

THE PROVISION OF POSITIVE ACTIVITIES FOR RURAL YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10 TO 28 YEARS

The hall is available for private hire and is used by local groups. We are part of Carn to Cove, a rural touring scheme for Cornwall which has introduced a wide variety of performers to a mixed audience. We also have weekly yoga/pilates classes, T'ai Chi, Table Tennis and rag rugging classes.

The promotion, for the benefit of the public, of urban/rural regeneration in Thames Ditton and surrounding area by all or any of the following means - relief of financial hardship, relief of unemployment, advancement of education/training, particularly for unemployed people and maintenance, improvement or provision of public amenities including recreational facilities for the public at large.

The promotion of agriculture, for the public benefit, in particular but not exclusively by:Promoting responsible working sheepdog ownership, breeding and training.Promoting matters pertaining to dog welfare in general. Improving the working standard of working sheepdogs by organising and promoting open and members only sheepdog trials.

The charity monitors planning applications and responds in the interest of protecting Cornwall's rural environment against inappropriate development.

Have meetings every week where we get together and do a range of activities ranging from sports to talks. We hold events such as parties and rallies to raise money for different charities.
