Education Charities That specialise in Employability training

Within the school and wider community, we organise and deliver fundraising events. We raise money for a variety of equipment and activities for the benefit of all children attending Highfield School, which the school is unable to purchase from statutory funds. We support the development of new opportunities, including work experience and enterprising activities.

Providing advice and assistance and organising programmes for children and young people living in the Forest of Dean district as a means of: (a) enabling them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals (b) advancing education (c) relieving unemployment.Encouraging Christian beliefs and values amongst them, their families and the community.

To advance education and in particular the education of people not in full time gainful employment who are in their Third Age (being the period of time after the first age of childhood dependence and the second age of full time employment and/or parental responsibility) residing in Hawkhurst and its surrounding location.

Art-Alive work in the community, with young vulnerable adults to develop their artistic skills, and continue this work when they are released from prison or hostel or left. We provide them with basic skills and art training to support and guide them into productive work either in paid employment or full time education. Majority of the work of art-alive is focused on the youth in the community.

Support for people who face multiple barriers to entering training and employment including: Managing a long term mental health problem; Acquiring mental health problems whilst in work; Having a learning difficulty; Having a physical disability; Are living with poor mental health; Have problems as a result of physical disability; Young people not in employment or education;

To enable disadvantaged young people to enter employment by removing the practical and financial barriers that prevent them from being able to successfully transition from education to employment.

Developing user-led services, particularly in supported employment, social enterprises, community living, leisure, independent advocacy and support brokerage. Run by and for disabled people and family carers.

Provision of learning, leisure, social and recreational activities for those no longer in full time employment, in the area of Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.

We promote christian faith for the benefit of the public, we act as resource for young people living in Tottenham and surrounding by providing advice, assistance and organising spiritual, physical, educational programmes as well as other activities. We also, help relief poverty and hardship amongst church members who are refugees and asylum seekers in financial hardship due to unemployment.

The centre continues to be well used by its tenants and various sections of the community. It now offers a variety of services including community education, employment training, crime prevention and social activities.Its sporting sections has various rugby teams, football teams and bowling teams. A new bowling pavilion and refurbished changing rooms are included in the charity's future plans.

To advance the education of people over 18 who are not in full time employment. The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities e.g. Photography, Computer Studies, Dancing, Languages, Walking, Tai Chi, Bowling, Arts& Crafts and Social Events, with the objective of improving the condition of life for the above persons in the interest of their social welfare.

We provide support for the persecuted / disadvantaged in deprived areas of the world in particular, but not exclusively by the provision of : water through installation of wells; shelter, security & food through children's homes; health through medical centres and outreach work; and opportunities for employment through educational support, vocational training and micro enterprise development.

Supports wounded, injured and sick Veterans through therapy and training in craft bookbinding, awarding City & Guilds qualifications and providing work experience and employment opportunities.

Encouraging prostitutes to give up prostitution and supporting them to engage their time in meaningful activities.

Ripon and District U3A provides a structure and network within National and International U3A Organisation to enable continued learning for people who are no longer in full time employment.

THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR LEISURE TIME AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE OBJECT OF PROVIDING EDUCATION TO OLDER PEOPLE NO LONGER IN FULL TIME GAINFUL EMPLOYMENT IN WAVENEY DISTRICT AND ITS SURROUNDING LOCALITY. ALSO TO IMPROVE THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THESE PEOPLE.
