The principal activity is to advance the education in music of young people up to the age of 25 in Hampshire (including Southampton and Portsmouth) who are educated principally in the schools and colleges within the said County.

Providing income for students at College, University & Further Education for residents of Burgh le Marsh up to the age of 25. To provide the local C of E School with extra money for books, etc. The money is provided from rent income from a parcel of land left for this purpose.

We offer the Community Centre for hire to local groups and individuals,also to Schools/Colleges, and the Local Authority for holding elections and public meetings. After deductions for caretaking, heating, lighting and administration costs, the residue is held for and applied to meeting individual and community needs in the area as the Trustees may direct.

To support the educational aspirations of individuals and organisations through donations, sponsorship and bursaries; Where appropriate, the Trust may make donations in support of capital projects at educational establishments to maximise the beneficial effect of Trust benevolence. The Trust will aim to focus its support within Shropshire and adjoining counties.

Makes money grants to young people for further education

The charity is currently involved in a project to build a small nursery school in Busumbala Village in The Gambia, West Africa. Funds are being raised through projects at schools/colleges where the trustees are employed and also through projects organised by local volunteers. Purpose to raise funds to provide additional funding for the Community College for sports equipment, Tech, Music ,Art & other subjects to enhance the learning of our students . This is achieved through donations , community grants and fund raising main fund raising a charity walk.

Grants are available to students who are residents of Burton Latimer Parish who are attending college of further education or university. There is no upper age limit.

The charity was created to assist financially those in Wansford and Thornhaugh who wish to proceed on to further education. We help by means of a grant in the form of book tokens or special equipment needed for a specific course or other relevant educational costs approved by the Trustees.
