The Bela Bartok Centre for Musicianship (BBCM) provides specialist musicianship training for all age groups - especially for young children and for music students at music colleges - and aims to disseminate the results of this training (for instance, via workshops) in the wider community.

THE CHARITY OPERATES IN THE WEAR VALLEY AND WEARDALE AND IS SEEKING TO OPERATE THE EMPIRE BUILDING IN CROOK AS A CINEMA AND THEATRE WITH ADDITIONAL ARTS FACILITIES TO FURTHER EDUCATION IN THE ARTS. UNTIL THE EMPIRE BUILDING HAS BEEN PURCHASED THE CHARITY IS OPERATING FROM VARIOUS VENUES PROVIDING ADHOC ENTERTAINMENT AND ENCOURAGING PARTICIPATING IN THE ARTS.

Applicants for funding from The Leete Charity are required under the terms of the Charity to be seeking further education and be under the age of 25. The applicant must also either reside in Royston and or be attending a school in Royston.

The Charity is able to make financial awards to people undertaking further education in the Borough of King's Lynn.

Sponsorship of workshops and conferences to advance and further education,training and research in the psychology of children with visual or other disabilities and developmental difficulties

We have donated to MAF-PNG to assist with Covid relief during the pandemic. We have also provided a 5000 litre water tank to the Good Shepherd Seminary at Fatima WHP, as well as funding twelve sewing machines to the wives of graduating clergymen at Newton College, Popondetta. Donation for a patient information video at Ipswich hospital UK and also funding for hearing aids at Mt Sion, Goroka.

Friends of Icknield is a group formed from the Icknield Community College PTA plus friends of the secondary school from the wider community. It's purpose is to support the school and raise funds for specific projects at the school.
