Education Charities That specialise in Further education

Funds raised benefit the students of the college. Funds are raised by means of a voluntary donation to the college and also by the sale of raffle tickets at college events.

Grants are made to graduates at Lincoln College, Oxford

Advancement of further education for girls in need who attend or have attended Dame Alice Owen's School in Hertfordshire and whose fathers are dead or no longer provide sufficient family support.

We have raised funds through events such as a non-uniform day, bags to school clothes collections, bingo, off site events and running refreshment stalls at College events. The money raised is donated to the college to provide educational equipment, informative visits and off site trips to enrich the pupils experience at school. We support the college on its information evenings where appropriate.

Art History in Schools advances education in the field of Art History, in particular but not exclusively by providing training, support, curricula and materials to those teaching in schools, colleges and other educational institutions. AHiS is preparing the curriculum, teaching materials and CPD for the new A level syllabus, as well as enrichment programmes and primary school workshops.

We give small grants to school leavers towards their further education or employment.

The Charity provides financial assistance for young people leaving school who are going on to further education (i.e. University/Polytechnic) and who make application and who live within the Ancient Chapelry of Heptonstall for the purpose of providing assistance with the purchase of books

Financial support of four specific Church of England primary schools in north Warrington and small grants to further education students living in that same specific area
