Sing Inside deliver group singing workshops in prisons across England and Wales, engaging volunteers from local community organisations and universities to form a choir alongside prison residents and staff. We work to build self-confidence and self-worth through shared musical and vocal skills, breaking down stereotypical views about prisons and building strong communities through group singing.

Financially support young adults from Dheisheh Palestinian Refugee camp in Bethlehem to study for an undergraduate degree at Al Quds University, East Jerusalem and Bethlehem University. The money is sent directly to the universities not the student. All are within the OPT.Up to March 2024, JAEP has funded eighty young adults to study for an undergraduate degree and raised over £540,000.

The Arts Society Henley (TASH) operates under the umbrella of The Arts Society, promoting awareness of the arts by offering its members and visitors lectures, study days and visits to exhibitions and artistic centres . The charity provides funding to Mary Dean's school to a budget set each year by the Trustees. Grants to former pupils of the school who are undertaking further/higher education or need sponsorship for a recognised activity to an amount set by the Trustees. All applications are discussed by the Trustees.

Provision of grants to students for higher education

The Charity supports higher and further education by the provision of freehold land to the University of Chichester, the loan of an art collection to the University and by the making of grants in accordance with the Objects of the Charity.

The Meserani Project is a unique home-grown charity with a primary focus on providing secondary, further and higher education for young people in an area of Tanzania where such opportunities are not accessible to them due to poverty and family circumstances. We are a relatively small-scale project, but we currently support 142 young people through secondary, further and higher education.
