We raise funds via modest annual membership fees from associated Universities and (pre-covid) an annual conference and seminars.

Neoangels supports families of sick and premature babies on the Neonatal Unit at the University Hospital of North Tees amd at James Cook University Hospital. Our aim is to support families, staff and babies on our unit in as many ways possible by using a holistic approach.

To relieve the needs of the poor, in particular, but not exclusively, Syrian refugees in Amman, Jordan by the provision of goods and equipment such as shelter, food, clothing, and cash. E4C provides a powerful programme of resources (lesson plans, displays, access to archival resources, assemblies, accredited research, reading lists, curriculum reviews) from EYFS to Higher Education. Financial assistance is available through the Higher Education Research and Special Expenses Fund to assist deserving young persons following special technical courses full-time at secondary schools or establishments of further education in the area formerly under the control of the London County Council (under Clause 1), and teachers and lecturers in the former LCC area (Clause 2).

The Council of Validating Universities (CVU) aims to advance education, including training and research, in particular by: keeping under review the concerns of degree-awarding institutions within the United Kingdom in relation to collaborative validation; identifying and promoting good practice in collaborative validation. The Charity operates across the UK.

We generate and provide ?250 Scholarships to students from lower-income households in England about to start university. The Scholarship pays for all or nearly all of their reading list (textbooks) in the first year or study. This gives them some financial as well as emotional breathing space, as well as a welcome addition to their CV.

To administer, foster, encourage, extend and control the playing of rugby union football for the moral, mental and physical development of students and others at the University and Colleges of the University of Cambridge. CURFU organises leagues and cup competitions, training and courses for referees and coaching.

Our flagship scheme, Ted's Friends, was launched at the University of Bristol at the start of the2020-21 academic year. The scheme provides TSF funded mental health training to student ambassadors within University sports teams, and following this successful pilot, significant expansion into other Universities is planned. TSF supports the Support after Suicide Partnership (SASP) through grants.
