Brunswick House Primary School PTA raises funds for various projects for the school.

The main aim of the P.T.F.A is to link the school and parents, by providing a means of contact, and secondly as a fund raising group to provide extras that the school budget cannot provide.

We hold a variety of fundraising events throughout the school year, including in school events and whole community events, in order to raise money. All profits made are then used to improve provisions, purchase educational materials and improve the facilities at The Weatherall's Primary school.

We aim to advance the education of the Pupils of the School by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities for education at the School (not normally provided by the Local Education Authority).Furthermore, we aim to foster more extended relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school.

The Friends support Great Chesterford Primary Academy and assist in the provision of facilities which come outside the normal range of funding. The Friends also help foster our school's unique sense of community through the organisation of social events which we all - children, parents and staff - can enjoy.

The WLD PTFA provides a range of events throughout the school year. The ages of the children that we cater to are 3 years up to 11 years. The events that we hold for the children are discos, craft activities, breakfast with santa. We offer many other activities for the whole family to come along to and enjoy these include, family quiz and bingo nights, music festivals, summer and Christmas fairs.
