West Cheshire Rural u3a is a small group serving the villages in rural West Cheshire. We are a group of individuals of varied backgrounds and interests, who are no longer in full-time employment who come together to and learn together, not for qualifications but for its own reward.

1) To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in full time gain full employment in Coventry and its surrounding locality. 2) The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the people in the interests of their social welfare.

The promotion of social inclusion for the public benefit among people who are refugees and asylum seekers who are socially excluded on the grounds of their social and economic position, by providing training in vocational skills.

This Charitable Trust makes small grants to organisations in the UK or Uganda, working to improve health and social welfare through recreational activities for people with disabilities or impaired health. We also support organisations working to improve the environment and those which provide vocational training for people at disadvantage.

The organisation mainly, but not exclusively, supports ethnic and black minority children to help improve their educational attainment. We work with the Islington Regeneration Department and several schools in the borough, running Supplementary Schools and Homework Clubs. In addition, we provide ESOL, ICT, learning resources, and volunteering opportunities to young people and parents.

East London Connect is a registered charity(Charity Number 1175537) helping pupils from disadvantaged backgrounds and ethnic minorities into Russell group universities. We also run career day/employability sessions to prepare pupils for successful careers.

The advancement of the Christian faith among Portuguese speaking communities within the Greater London area.The relief of poverty hardship and distress among the beneficiaries, by the provision of advice, advocacy, training and translation services to facilitate their access to local or state services, benefits, education and employment.

Appealing for unused laptops or tablets, that we securely data-wipe and refurbish, then donate to patients in hospices, charity volunteers, unemployed veterans and charities supporting schools in Africa. Holding charity exhibitions to raise awareness of disadvantaged sectors of society and countries, showcasing the work of charities in the community and encouraging volunteering in charities.

The charity is based in London and its main activity is to organise work placements across Europe for people, students and university graduates resident in the 27 EU countries.The organisation was founded to help facilitate the creation of a European Education Area to be achieved by 2010, as set out in the Lisbon strategy.

FAITH TEMPLE MINISTRIES is a family church in Liverpool. We are currently involved in various activities in the local community; Employability skills training, tutoring for school age children, mentoring teenage parents, befriending and helping the elderly and various other initiatives.

The Friends of Hillside Primary School provide social events which are fun for pupils and parents. Many activities are organised to provide additional funding for items such as ICT hardware and software, playground equipment and apparatus and garden furniture and equipment.

OCLG, based in Ore, Hastings aims to create greater literacy and numeracy skills, learning and employment opportunities for local residents by operating a community library which will benefit the individuals and the local economy by widening access to quality, focussed resources, including the borrowing of books and access to digital resources, e.g. computers, the Internet, printers and scanners.

Gobo Theatre Foundation is a charity created to help support, mentor and inspire young people in the theatrical arts with a focus on ensuring that opportunities are not only available to those who can afford it.

For the public benefit, to act as a resource for young people aged between 11 25 living in the Milton Keynes area by providing advice and assistance and organising mentoring support and activities as a means of advancing in life and helping young people by developing their skills capacities and capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent mature and responsible individuals

Beaumont Lodge Neighbourhood Association are a community-focused charity that provides local services for young people and adults who reside in the Beaumont Leys area of Leicester. We provide various services such as, youth sessions, computer training sessions, a meeting space for local groups, community cafe, coffee mornings, activity sessions and lots more.
