Joanna works with women, particularly those at risk of, or involved in prostitution in Leeds. Through practical and emotional support, befriending and mentoring we aim to enable these women to exit prostitution and sustain a new life.

The objects of the charity are:1. Community transport2. Provision of facilities for recreation, or other leisure time occupation and interests of Social Welfare or in pursuant of employment.

The Centre Project aims to reduce isolation and promote well-being. Current activities include- My connect ' Community Hub'- Centre Kitchen - Social eating- Support, information, advocacy, signposting and referrals- Day services for adults with learning difficulties- Activities such as, games, art therapy, day trips and IT classes- The Freedom Youth Club - Community Food bank

We operate as a Cathedral Volunteer Programme for unemployed people. We bring a sharp focus to their employability and skills needs and create a structured pathway to support them back to work. Our volunteers are not clients or customers, it is their decision to choose and commit to being a volunteer and they can stay as long as they want to. There are no goodbyes.

The advancement of the Islamic faith and the relief of poverty, i.e. by offering help to widows and widowers, the elderly, the disabled, the unemployed and the under-privileged generally in whatever way possible, and by helping to arrange and attend the burial of any deceased members and to assist the bereaved generally.

Our main activity is a drop-in centre 1 day per week open to all refugee and asylum seeking women in Bristol. The drop-in centre provides education, advice, information, support, social activities and training, volunteer and employment opportunities to refugee women. We also participate in local events and forums to give a voice to refugee women.

The Hut York was set up to provide meaningful and purposeful activities for people with enduring mental health and/or learning disabilities. Currently there are over 200 members. At present we run session on arts, crafts, games, a men's lunch club and vocational, social and life-skills along with work experience. The activities do change and are tailored to individuals' health and interests.

The Trust provides and improves educational facilities for the children and young people in Kovalam, South India. This includes the construction of a Higher Secondary School and improvement of the Primary School. It arranges sponsorship of 400 of the poorest children who have the opportunity to progress to further education. At any time there are 75 at university or in vocational training.

Amantani works with young people from indigenous Quechua-speaking communities in the Andes of Peru, enabling them to access high quality education and opportunities of fair employment.
