West Berkshire Homeless (Newbury area) works with the homeless or those facing homelessness by helping to obtain accommodation and if possible employment, helping obtain finance to obtain/maintain accommodation, exploring ways of preventing benefit withdrawals that result in homelessness, if required, providing a night shelter during the winter period and working to elevate general poverty.

GNE supports children ,young people, families and carers affected by disability or a barrier to learning by providing leisure activities, holiday schemes, training and work experience. Recycling of freely donated bicycles to give affordable access to fully reconditioned roadworthy bikes, to local children and adults, to enable them to improve their health, increase their opportunities for employment, reduce the cost of their transport, interact within their community, volunteer and fund raise. The social mission of With Insight is to advance the educational and professional prospects of black-heritage students by providing, in particular but not exclusively, mentoring that builds the confidence, knowledge and soft skills that they need to progress to top third ranked universities and into professional careers.

Chapter2 supports organisations that wish to provide a mentoring programme for young persons and in particular boys growing up with an absent father. This is achieved by providing; recruitment, training, equipping and assessment of potential mentors, provision of leisure time activities, ongoing support and access to a network of referral agencies. Current operations are in the Reading area.
