LifeLine Network is an international association of NGOs, and community-based organisations in 17 nations, seeking to provide relief to people who are in need and create sustainable development, through agricultural development, vocational skills training, education, health care, leadership and management mentoring, psycho-social care and micro-finance.

The Centre is in an extremely deprived area of Clacton-on-Sea. It is available for hire at reduced rates for local people for activities e.g. dance classes, bowls club, art class, private parties, etc. The Centre also runs activities itself, these include two sessions of Bingo-Monday and Thursday from 1.00pm, a Wednesday Lunch Club from 12noon and Computer Classes from absolute beginners upwards.

HYT enables young volunteers to work alongside Ugandans in meeting basic humanitarian needs, such as housing, water and education. HYT promotes sustainable development, particularly the use of appropriate technology for low carbon construction, which preserves the environment. HYT also helps Ugandans develop skills for future employment and generating income.

Ansaar supports People with Learning Disabilities and Carers by the provision of information, advice and support. It provides a unique separate gender day activities service for Adults with Learning Disabilities and supports them in getting employment and doing voluntary work. Bi-lingual staff offers free support to Carers.
