Amphibian and Reptile Groups of UK (ARG UK) is committed to the conservation of native amphibians and reptiles and their natural environment by supporting the development of a network of independent volunteer amphibian and reptile groups (ARGs)

Members study and record the plants, birds, insects and other wildlife, and their habitats, in the London area, through field meetings, talks, and publications. The general public is welcome at all events. Grants are available to support research and the conservation of biodiversity.

The group provides Scouting activities to boys and girls living in the vicinity of the premises in Old London Road/Riverside Road. The Turtle Dove is a homing migratory dove kept in captive pairs, very prolific breeders and after laying two eggs, will lay again. The young are fostered by other tamer doves, and the young are released into the wild in late summer. They spend a month in specially constructed release pens, in order to familiarise them with natural food and their wild habitat. They will return every year.

Friends of Doxford Park maintains the park area, ensuring it is in keeping with the conservation area and the Sunderland Council master plan. Volunteers clear litter as well as plant and clear flora and fauna when required.

Based in Hampshire, the Rescue is dedicated to helping animals of all types ie pets, farm animals and occasionally wildlife. We take in animals from members of the public no longer able to care for them or abandoned animals. New homes are sought for the animals wherever possible. If adoption proves unsuitable, the rescue does offer long term fostering arrangements to some animals.

We are an environmental charity who organise and run events accross Cardiff and South Wales to clean up and improve water courses: rivers, streams, ponds or the sea! This could be a general litterpick or wading into a river to clear it of shopping trolleys, recycling as much of what we find as we can to fund the charity. We also undertake habitat management across the city.

The Objects of the Charity include the prevention and relief of poverty and the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment including by raising awareness of the impact of climate change.

Canines for Africa creates wildlife-protection and counter-poaching K9 units to help preserve species and ecosystems throughout the world.

The charity is based in Halton, Widnes. It operates a nature based service in c3/4 an acre of much-loved community green space, focusing on enhancing the natural environment, wildlife and biodiversity using sustainable methods.
