Environment Charities

We support beekeeping in Hertfordshire both by assisting the local beekeeping groups across the county and by providing education to the public.

The object of the charity is to protect and conserve the wildlife and natural environment of the Slipper Mill Pond, which is located in the Parish of Southbourne, West Sussex, for the benefit and quiet enjoyment of the public. Much of the maintenance of the pond infrastructure is achieved by volunteers, but larger projects require contractors to carry out the work.

Provide for Sports,Recreation, Landscape and Nature conservation for the community

Turtle Foundation is a dedicated international volunteer effort with project sites in Indonesia & Cape Verde, cooperating with local communities to create a future where both sea turtles and people can thrive. We aim to prevent endangered sea turtles from becoming extinct due to the threats of poaching, the looting of turtle nests and destruction of their ecosystem by the expansion of tourism.

The BNHS was formed in 1946 and its main function is to record the flora and fauna of the county of Bedfordshire. Over 20 recorders cover many branches of natural history study and their annual reports are published in the Bedfordshire Naturalist. The Society depends on annual subscriptions and members receive quarterly newsletter Wild about Beds and programmes of meetings.

Beekeepers Association based in Pinner and Hillingdon. The Association promotes safe beekeeping to new and existing beekeepers. Very importantly it keeps members updated with regard to bee deseases and their safe treatment. The Association provides local honey products important for treatment of a number of ailments. It also aims to educate the local community about the importance of bees.

The management of a Nature Reserve in order to promote biodiversity and environmental well being; Provision of facilities to allow visitor access;An educational programme including lectures, group and school visits;A species recording programme to monitor the effects of environmental changes

We are an independent wildlife charity working to halt and reverse the decline of wildlife habitats and species in Tenterden, Kent, and beyond. We collaborate and partner with local residents and young people, landowners, councils and conservation organisations.

To conserve and enhance the natural beauty and amenity of the area of Brandon Wood including Flora and Fauna natural to it and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for education, recreation or other leisure activities in the interests of social welfare with a view to improving the conditions of life.

We aim to help decrease plastic pollution within our seas. We provide free talks and collaborations with schools in Dorset.We do beach cleans as a means of direct action and as a way to foster community engagement .We support adventure challenges that bring a focus to our ocean' s health.We support our Charity ambassadors to maintain an on line social media presence.

Riverside United Church provides Weddings, Funerals and Baptisms. It provides a worship service on Sunday mornings. Bible Study and Prayer meetings throughout the year. Pastoral work visiting the sick and bereaved.

We believe in the power of small acts. We face the greatest test ever encountered by humanity.

The charity promotes conservation of the environment of the Nyika National Park and the Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve through an education programme in schools and communities in the areas and research activities. Promotion is through newsletters, talks, the website (www.nyika-vwaza-trust.org) and fund raising events in the UK. These activities also help to promote tourism to Malawi.

Mount Kenya Trust supports conservation on Africa's second highest mountain - Mount Kenya. Projects support the people, forest, wildlife and water surrounding the peaks.

Our community recycling projects include producing three recycling directories (covering the whole of Dorset). These advertise the needs of not-for-profit organisations for items which people are throwing away. We also run 9 Win on Waste sessions each month, (welcoming 4000 households in 2022), in Dorset where communities come together to donate items from their waste to benefit good causes.

Calling for worldwide abolition of the death penalty. 3) Developing legal definition & framework of Crimes Against Present & Future Generations. 4) Raising awarness on violence against women and girls

The Objects are :a) to promote the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in Italy; b) the advancement of heritage in Italy; c) the advancement of education of the public in the heritage in Italy; in particular (but without limitation) by supporting the charitable purposes of the Italian organization Fondo per l'Ambiente Italiano.

We offer social and therapeutic horticulture for mental health and well being. We provide physical and mental rehabilitation, in the context of social inclusion, through a variety of gardening activities and associated crafts. We are based at the orchards in Bronllys Hospital, Powys, LD3 0LU.

The Trustees' primary aim, or mission, is to replace the need for hand-outs of money, food and fertiliser in rural areas of Malawi by training farming communities in sustainable 'deep bed' cultivation and land management practices, thereby enabling them to achieve self-sufficiency (as a minimum).
