The conservation and enhancement of the beauty and character of Mendip and the surrounding area with particular regard to landscape, wildlife habitat, archaeological, historical and natural features.

We promote and further the craft of beekeeping by educating children, adults and aspiring beekeepers through educational workshops, talks and shows. We also empower disadvantaged individuals, especially young ex-offenders though skill-building and education to promote confidence, wellbeing and community reintegration. We also utilise the profits from our honey sales to help alleviate poverty.

In association with the Conservation Leadership Program*, the Trust awards an annual grant to teams of young conservationists internationally.*The CLP is a partnership of three of world's leading biodiversity conservation organisations: BirdLife International (UK), Fauna & Flora International (UK) and the Wildlife Conservation Society (USA).

To promote beekeeping and educate about beekeeping

We give grants to voluntary sector community groups to improve the services and facilities in the village of Grindleford and promote the conservation, protection, and improvement of the physical and natural environment, particularly by promoting sustainable transport in Grindleford and taking measures to mitigate the effects of climate change.

Gives charitable grants to students who are undertaking further education in rural land management and livestock auctioneering. Grants may be given in the form of money or books and equipment

To protect tiger and other Indian wild life and conserve Indian forests and assist in conservation of environment

Our primary aim is to help the people of York, the U.K. and elsewhere across the world, who are less fortunate. The Club supports children and youth, elderly people and those with disabilities, and all mankind. Our Rocking Rudolph schedule at Christmas is our major fundraiser.The club manufactures and distributes toiletry packs to hospitals, and collects used spectacles for recycling, and others

Activities associated with the management of Fleet Pond nature reserve and SSSI. Active volunteer management, quarterly newsletter, guide leaflets, talks and guided walks aimed at improving awareness and protection of the nature reserves wildlife. Educational visits for local community groups and for schools and youth groups. Corporate team building management tasks for local companies.

Our organisation raises funds through staging a variety of school and community events such as: craft fairs; quiz nights; a summer fete; discos; uniform sales; recycling of textiles and other materials; sponsored events (such as fun run and spellathon); and participation in easyfundraising. We also apply for grants from charitable foundations.

Ashburton Repair Cafe (ARC) promotes the reuse and recycling of household products by offering education on how to repair, and offering a repair service. We do not charge for repairs. People often give a donation for the time taken by our volunteers, and this is entirely voluntary.

Aims are the study and recording of the flora and fauna of Kent, promotion of nature conservation, and provision of a means of communication between naturalists in the county. This is carried out through programmes of outdoor and indoor meetings; publication of documents; appointment of recorders to act as referees for particular taxa; and support for appropriate activities by outside bodies.

Hedgepigs & Hoglets Rescue is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick, injured or orphaned native hedgehogs & small wild mammals back to their natural environment.
