The overall aim of this project is to restore access to spawning areas, protect river habitat and improve water quality for migratory and resident fish in Carmarthenshire. This is encapsulated in the mission statement of The Carmarthenshire Rivers Trust: ÔÇ£To restore the rivers and wetlands of Carmarthenshire to their former gloryÔÇØ.

The trusts will provide and hold land for use as a training apiary for the teaching of beekeeping skills under the supervision of Wisborough Green Division of the British Beekeepers Association, or any similar successor organisation.

Rescue of domestic animals, that have been neglected or physically abused by their owners. After medical treatment should this be required, they remain with us and are cared for within the Sanctuary. Injured wildlife rescued, are brought in to our Sanctuary for medical care and rehabilitation, then released back into the wild. All animals are seen by a Vet and given treatment accordingly.

Rural Policing Liaison Group are involved with a number of activities throughout the year, We have purchased Mobile cameras to monitor wildlife crime. Also we are in the throws of setting up our fourteenth annual awards evening where we award a Police Officer, Three members of the public, A young person, and a farmer, for their work in wildlife and conservation.

To advance the education of the public on the subject of weather and climate, in order to raise awareness and understanding, and also to advance the protection of the environment and property, and the savings of lives;To promote further and higher education studies on the subject of weather and climate, and meteorology as a career;

National Student Awards - The Foundation aims to create links with universities and reward students in higher education who produce outstanding projects that will benefit the marine environment. Marine Environment and Renewable Energy Education Programme -The Foundation offers schools interactive outdoor sessions on marine ecology, climate change and the current threats to the oceans.

ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION TO THE DISADVANTAGED CHILDREN ESPECIALLY IN ARTS AND SPORTSPROVIDING GOODS/SERVICES, ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE TO REFUGEES & ASYLUM SEEKERSASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES & SERVICES AND TRANSLATING MEDICAL ADVICE BOOKSPROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT BY RECLAMATION OF USED COMPUTERS, MOBILE PHONES, PLASTIC GOODS & RECYCLING

Charity raises funds through UK organised events such as the Brighton Marathon, London Marathon, London Triathlon, and Great South Run. As a charity we also run our own annual Pro-Am Golf Day and quiz night. We also raise funds through one-off small scale events such as cake sales, dress down days and awareness days and we recycle various items such as ink cartridges, CD/DVD's and mobile phones.

PHI was set up to do good through general charitable purposes. However, our primary concerns for 2024 onwards is to mitigate and adapt to the effects of Climate Change globally. While closer to home in London, we will continue to carry out our tasks in relation to helping the homeless people on the streets of UK, along with other general charitable purposes when and where deemed necessary.

To promote sustainable development in Malawi for the benefit of the public by:a) the preservation, conservation and the protection of the environment and the prudent use of resources;b) the relief of poverty and the improvement of the conditions of life socially and economically disadvantaged communities;c) the promotion of sustainable means of achieving economic growth and regeneration.

The aim of F.O.S.O.S. is to develop and maintain the QEII registered playing field and wild-life area in Staining Village for the use and enjoyment of visitors to and the people of Staining Village

The Charity recycles sports kit, primarily cricket, for the benefit of young people in the UK and overseas. Through this we make a positive and tangible impact on young peoples' lives by giving them a chance to participate in sporting activities, promoting social inclusion and also protecting the environment.
