Halfway Community Centre Charity is a charity that is supporting vulnerable children and families.

To establish or to secure the establishment of a Community Centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Saint George and Porthill Road, Shrewsbury in the County of Shropshire.

Supporting the needs of communities via supporting a community centre for education of children

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disability, financial hardship or social circumstances with the object of improving their conditions of life.

Provides Village Hall for local use

This centre consists of a large hall, small hall, kitchen, toilets and entrance hall. It has disability access, baby changing facilities and off street parking. The centre is available for hire and holds regular activities that cater for all age groups. The Charity is also responsible for the grounds surrounding the centre.

Premises are available to rent for regular group activities,pilates,folk dance,playgroup,childrens parties and social community events only where there is no alcohol. We encourage groups who run keep-fit activities, dance and children's activities

To maintain the Community centre for the benefit of all residents of Cullompton and district inclusively and without distinction. To provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for all residents

Over the year we have raised the profile of world music, in both the rural areas of North and South Craven (Skipton and Settle) as well as the urban conurbations of Leeds and Bradford, through concerts in Settle Victoria Hall, The Delius Centre in Bradford and Seven arts in Leeds, as well as playing at Village Fetes and Community Centres.

Beaminster Yarn Barton Community Centre serves as an information and services hub for Beaminster and the surrounding area. The centre is open every morning Monday - Saturday, and is a focal point providing information for residents and visitors. It delivers services on behalf of local authorities, supports its own activities and of community groups, advertises local events and provides room hire.

Our activities during 2018 were:Arts n Craft Group; Monday Group; Bowling Group; Tap Dancers; Calmer Youth Group; Colliery Corner Group (parents and children); Halloween Events; Easter Parade; Christmas Party; BBQ Days; Disco for the youth; Face Painting; Dog Show; Coffee mornings; Lunch Club. We were supported in this by a grant from the People's Health Trust

We manage and operate the community centre hall.The hall is for hire and use by the local community residents and the following groups martial arts, mind.The hall is also available and used for private parties and various meetings

To provide and maintain a community centre for the use of the inhabitants of the town of Loughor without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

We have set up a community centre in the Halliwell area of Bolton working in partnership with Bolton Council. We help and support other community groups and local charities. We have set up a small food bank with a soup kitchen feeding people in need. We have setup a community toolbox to share tools and equipment with other charities and community groups.
