We've transformed Longstone Chapel into a community centre, where we host activities like coffee mornings and men's shed to combat social isolation. Station Town Community Centre has a weekly tea dance, youth club, dancing school and cycle group. It is the host venue for Wingate & Station Town Family Centre's summer activity programme. The centre also provides a venue for hire for local organisations, businesses and local families.

We are a voluntary group who run our local community centre building. The building is available for hire for a range of activities from childrens birthday parties to ballroom dancing. Regular users include: Churwell Action Group, Striker Tots - football, Keep Fit, Pilates, Community Choir and Methodist Church.
