Religious and social activities. We hold our actvities at the Wimbledon Community Centre, Haydons Road, Wimbledon on a monthly basis. Most of our members belong to the ethnic minorities and are in the main senior citizens

Eid was celebrated at the community centre with a family day and communal meal. The special activities were organised for children quiz and prize giving on Eid day.

1. Conduct monthly poojas to enable Hindus or anyone with a interest in Hinduism attend the events in Cambridge.2. Carryout fundraising activities to raise funds for establishment of Hindu Temple in or around Cambridge with community centre insitu. 3. Celebrate major Hindu festivals in Cambridge.4. Conduct monthly Vedic Heritage classes for children.

The charity and company exist to raise money to fund and build, and then to run, the New Dragon Centre - youth and community centre for Hanworth.

Activities of the CIO aim to benefit the residents of Solon New Road and the wider community through advancing education and providing facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time activities with the objective of improving the well being of the residents. Bingo held in Thomas Gaughan Community Centre, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday evenings.

The Community Centre in Libanus closed 4 years ago. Presently the Community hall Trust meets in the local Chapel. The Chapel Members are currently looking at plans to alter the layout of the Chapel to allow Community Groups to make greater use of the premises.

To provide a meeting place and activities for the community.

Querns community centre provides a base for services, facilities, social, educational, training, playschemes, parent and child groups, youth opportunities for the residents of Querns and surrounding area. Supported by volunteers and other agencies.This is open to all ages, groups and ability.To improve the quality of life and aleviate isolation and exclusion for these residents

The provision and maintenance of a community centre for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefits without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for; (a) meetings, lectures and classes (b) other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the condition of life for the inhabitants.

We offer Ki Gong, Armchair Yoga, breathing and meditation classes to the elderly in the Surrey and surrounding areas. We are currently working with Staywell in Kingston and New Malden, MILAAP in New Malden and the Kingston Chinese Association at their community centres.

PCA run activties for the senior citizens in the Porstea Area. currently these are the Bowls club, line dancing sessions and Bingo nights. in addition through out the year PCA run outings that are advertsied for users of the community centre and residents of Portsea to go on.

TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY WORKING WITH PEOPLE IN THE LOCAL AREA OF THE LONDON BOROUGH OF LEWISHAM AND ITS ENVIRONS WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED ON GROUNDS OF THEIR ETHNIC ORIGIN, RELIGION BELIEF (IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY RECENT MIGRANT FROM AFGHANISTAN AND CENTRAL ASIA) TO RELIEVE THE NEEDS OF SUCH PEOPLE AND ASSIST THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY

We have social meetings every Thursday evening at Chickenley Community Centre, Chickenley, Dewsbury from 6pm to 8.30pm and swimming sessions every Tuesday at Batley Baths from 7 - 8pm. We arrange outings and have an annual outing to various places within a suitable travel distance with a meal afterwards. We hold events during the year as well as Xmas parties and Birthday parites.
