THE CHARITY is HOLDING CONFERENCES AND SEMINARS THAT CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS IT'S OBJECTIVES. A COMMUNITY CENTRE HAS BEEN HIRED IN HITCHIN HERTFORDSHIRE AND MEETINGS HAVE BEEN DONE ON ZOOM.

Currently the charity is raising funds towards the provision of a community centre in Hardwick

The Charity Activities are held at Georgetown Community Centre only.

Community Education

Provide support to advance education, and provide recreational and leisure time activities. With the object of improving the conditions of life for local residents. To assist in this to establish and support a community centre.

Provision of equipment and facilities for local groups and individuals, community organisations, community service providers, community support agencies, private functions and statutory agencies.

THE PROVISION OF A YOUTH AND COMMUNITY CENTRE FOR USE BY THE CHARITY AND OTHER ORGANISATIONS TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, EDUCATION (E.G. PRE-SCHOOL DAY-CARE AND U3A), MUSIC, SPORTS AND OTHER ACTIVITIES FOR THE LOCAL POPULATION OF GREAT BOOKHAM AND THE SURROUNDING AREA. BYCA WORKS IN PARTNERSHIP WITH OTHER CHARITIES, ORGANISATIONS AND SURREY COUNTY COUNCIL YOUTH DEVELOPMENT SERVICE.

East Oxford Community Association has been based at the East Oxford Community Centre, which belongs to Oxford City Council, since its formation in 1976. The Association provides opportunities for education, recreation, leisure and social welfare, prioritising those who are socially disadvantaged in our local community.

We are Chrsitian based organisation that is focused on spiritual and social activities, which include organising and mobilising our local community to help improve peoples lives and solve the problems that are important in our community . These include meeting the spirtual and psychosocial needs of our community through volunteering, community action and some simple neighbourly acts.

Community Centre catering for local groups in different activities and one off bookings for parties etc.

At the present time we applied a hall in the Stockwell Community Centre which we still waiting an answer, to reach our activities in the area as others groups such as: cultural performing, education, recreation and other leisure activities. Because stockwell studios where we was performing does not have a good conditions for our activities.

The Charity's objective is to provide facilities for recreation or other leisure-time occupation. These are provided in the interests of social and welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the public at large.

PEMBROKE HOUSE IS A COMMUNITY CENTRE BASED IN WALWORTH, SOUTH LONDON. IT RUNS A RANGE OF PROJECTS, INCLUDING A LUNCH CLUB FOR OLDER PEOPLE; A MUSIC ACADEMY FOR CHILDREN AND A GARDENING FOR WELLBEING GROUP. IT ALSO PARTNERS WITH OVER 25 OTHER ORGANISATIONS WHO RUN COMMUNITY PROJECTS ON THE PREMISES, AND IS HOME TO THE VIBRANT PARISH CHURCH OF ST CHRISTOPHER'S.

400 year old charity being freeholders of the land and property known as the Almshouses Church Street Llanrwst.Charitable objects are to provide a community centre for enhancement of education and provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare and for recreation and other leisure activities

The trust's main object is to operate Churchhill Hall as a community centre and also to assist and encourage member groups.

The Community Centre provides a wide of recreational and social facilities including a large hall and stage.This is used for by the community and community groups for weddings,race - nights,dances,quizzes,public meetings etc.In additon there are a number of community groups - currently totoalling some 20 orgamisations that use the facilities.There is also asquash court,sauna,fitness suit

Please note:- Our activities are now greatly reduced - we built a Community Centre 20 years ago which we have now leased to another Charity - Wetheriggs United Football Club - They are a Chartity organisation (not sure of their number) email address:- wetheriggsunited@hotmail.com We are still the "landlord" but all hirings etc will be done by them and as from now we will have very little income.

Wavendon Community Centre was created to hold and manage the property and premises on trust for the inhabitants of the Parish "for charitable purposes"

we run a community centre. within the centre we run a playgroup, We also now accomodate a children's centre. We hire rooms out to several groups which include diet and exercse, parent and toddler group, baby clinic,dancing classes, friendship group, widow group, chiropody and so on. We are sympathetic to charitable organisations wanting to use our centre.

Being the hub of the local community, the Community Centre provides a full size soccer pitch for the use of various teams in the locality, along with a short 5-a-side pitch within a specific space and the most important aspect is the provision of a childrens playground with play equipment.
