Burgh House is a cultural and community centre whose main activities are concerts; exhibitions by local artists and lectures; meetings of local groups, and the Hampstead Museum. It is open to the general public free of charge.The principal purposes of the Trust are to preserve Burgh House and its contents, and to protect and improve its amenities for the public benefit.

We are a small community association in a deprived area of Southampton. We work to advance the improve education (e.g. training), leisure opportunities (e.g. local groups/organisations) and enhance the local area. We still support the local community centre through a working relationship with the organisation (City Life) that have resumed responsibility for the centre following Asset Transfer.

The Charity maintains and runs a Community Centre and family Hub for the benefit of local residents of Wimborne and surrounding area

Trips for local people who are unable to get out of the area, half term and summer activities for local children to attend. Community Cinema and kids cinema. Youth centre open 5 days a week. Cooking classes, silver surfers group. Activities such as Baby Clinic, Chiropody, Preschool, Toddler Group, messy play, Keep Fit and Martial Arts Classes, Dancing, Italian Classes, Community Church.

We provide facilities at our Hall for use by organizations covering all age groups.These include childrens Karate ,Bingo for pensioners etc.We have a Church that uses the Hall and we often let other charitable organizations use it for fundraising etc.The premises are for the use of a diverse range of people.

Research suitable organisations involved in work for youth in UK and Israel, and make grants where approved.

To provide recreation and , to enable OAP's to have lunches etc.To Provide accommodation for church groups and our own groups owned by the community centre like bingo,To provide the youth club to help young people, Judo to run their service.Hold functions for hospitals and general use of community.

AS THE HUB OF THE VILLAGE, THE COMMUNITY CENTRE PROVIDES A PLACE FOR VARIOUS CLUB ACTIVITIES TO BE CONDUCTED, BENEFITING AN AGE RANGE FROM THE VERY YOUNG TO SENIOR CITIZENS. THE COMMUNITY CENTRE HAS ALSO BEEN DELEGATED AS A " PLACE OF SAFETY" IN THE EVENT OF FLOODS OR OTHER EMERGENCIES

The object of the Charity is the provision and maintenance of a Village Hall for use by the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. The area of benefit means Jacobs Well and the surrounding neighbourhood.

Three Crosses Community Council provides a Community Centre for use by village residents, groups and other miscellaneous parties on a non profit making basis.

Grants to individuals and uniformed organisations for young people 10 - 21 years of age.

Walking football, eat and meet, line dancing, yoga nights,indoor bowling,bingo,jive nights,quiz nights,play groups for under 5's.

Our centre is available for various events,: Over 60's club, keep fit groups, elderly lunch club, youth club, bingo night etc. Mainly for Tinsley residents and their friends. Also various community meetings.

Other charitable purposes

Land held by the Trust includes a car park, outdoor sports facilities, a bowls pavilion, and a visitor centre, hosting four different organisations who utilise the facilities. The Trustee works with the voluntary organisations to provide and maintain the facilities and recreation grounds for the communities of Teversal, Stanton Hill, Skegby and surrounding area.

Provision of Youth and Community Centre and Activities for the purpose of helping and educating young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.
