This charity has now become active on the successful completion of the transfer of assets from the old unincorporated association of the same name. The main function of the charity is the management of Westfield Park, Longhoughton's sport and community centre. The charity will also be expected to play its part in planning for the future progress of the local community.

To offer a wide range of sporting, leisure and learning opportunities to benefit the physical and mental well-being of people living in the Dunston community, as well as the wider Gateshead community, regardless of age, sex, religion, political persuasion or physical and mental abilities.

Providing a community centre for the Charlotteville area

The association runs the Worle Community Centre located in the centre of Worle. The centre is available for hire by Community and commercial groups.

St. Catherine's Community Association continues to actively promote a wide range of activities for all ages within the local area using the Community Centre as their base. Some of these activities are 'In-house' and others in partnership with local and national providers.The Community Cafe is open weekdays from 10am till 2pm, and longer on activity days. Catering can be organised for events.

Community based art studio that specialises in the well being and recovery from mental illnesses (or a reduction on prescribed medication) via the therapeutic qualities of art. We work alongside school, the LA, community centres and private businesses to deliver Outreach arts and craft sessions.

Community Centre activities include: The Community Fridge Project, Hot meals, Warm space. Coffee mornings. Bingo, Cooking workshops, Social activities for children & adults, The Townsend Community Growers. Hire of the hall for group activities, community use & meetings. Annual community coach outing. General community support.

OFCA runs a community centre offering facilities for hire by both affiliated and non-affiliated groups in the Felixstowe area. Over 25 groups use the centre regularly and others on an occasional or 'one-off' basis. Facilities include two halls, a coffee lounge, kitchen and tennis courts. Fundraising events include community markets, a Summer fair and a Christmas card delivery scheme.

The activities of Shandon Community Association are open to the wider community of Newcastle upon Tyne. However its main target group are residents of the 2 local wards of Kenton and Fawdon. The current programme offers , cheerleading, dance and gymnastic sessions and holiday activities for children, young people and their families.
