Coddington Community Centre is overseen by a group of trustees, It's an eco friendly public building and the aim is to provide a place for local residents to get together for activities or celebrations.We have a choice of a meeting room or main hall that we hire out.

The object of the Charity is to provide facilities for the inhabitants of Sherborne West End and the neighbourhood that can be used for the advancement of education, social welfare for recreation and leisure time activities.Currently groups regularly using the facilities are Pre-school, WI, Friendship club, Community Church, Brownies, Slimming world, Dance classes, Bowls.

A Community Centre providing the following groups:- Fibromyalgia Support Group, Art for over 50's, Children's Dance Classes, Sequence Dances, Tea Dances, Indoor Bowling, Slimming World, Pilates, Swing Dance Classes, Christian Fellowship Meetings, Keep Fit Classes, Karate Classes, Urban Dance Classes. Hall available for casual hire.

Place of Worship offering community support by way of Food Bank and wellbeing support.

Facilities for the nearby school for assemblies etc, now providing "walking bus" access to school via Centre for safety of the children. Sport's hall used weekly by disabled groups for bowling etc. The use of the building to it's full potential for the benefit of the surrounding community.

Provide a Hall and facilities as our village's home for all kinds of activities and events. Large lawn area enables outdoor events in good weather. It is busy but hire fees do not fully cover outgoings so the Committee also run fund raising events such as a monthly Village Market, Allotments and Film shows. Also we house local and general elections and the local emergency centre.
