A Christian Chapel providing a 3 - 4.30 pm Sunday Service to the public on a weekly basis. Bible studies held every Wednesday 7.30 - 9 pm and Thursday evening 7.30 - 9 pm.Christian Counselling available by appointment. Community Garden maintained by the Church for everyone to enjoyat any time. Coffee mornings, barbeques, harvest supper, flower & produce show ,local school visit & service.

The Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council, acting as the Barr Beacon Trust, maintains a piece of land known as "Barr Beacon" for the purposes of public open space and recreation primarily for the benefit of the local community. The Council, as Trustee, is also responsible for maintaining and keeping in repair, the War Memorial erected on the site.

The Trust is a registered charity supported by voluntary contributions for the provision of an open spaceto be known as Heathfield and Waldron Millennium Green. It is to be used for play and other leisure timeoccupations, a meeting area or place for community events for the general benefit of the community.

The Hall Committee put on regular events (quizzes, ceilidh, carnival, food evenings etc) and it has regular weekly user-groups (scouts, art group, garden club, dog training, craft and chat, WI, book Club, Wine Circle etc). Everything is aimed at encouraging and protecting a sense of community.

The Canterbury is a civic organisation we campaign to enhance the quality of the environment in our City. We aim to preserve and enhance Canterbury?s architecture and urban environment, its green spaces and its transport system, and to combat litter, graffiti and night-time disturbance. We provide a focus and a forum for those who love Canterbury, and give people a voice on issues which matter.

Provide environmental activities for all ages and parts of the local community, maintain a community garden, sell refreshments and hold various community events and activities throughout the year. We also serve as a channel of communication between local residents, Portsmouth City Council and Community Police and other interested parties. Our facilities and events are run solely by volunteers.

The village hall is used by local inhabitants for various activities such as Lunches, Coffee mornings, Meetings, Garden club, Pilates, Tai Chi, Line Dancing, Dances, Discos, Quizzes, Short Mat Bowls, some church services. The hall has a Alcohol licence used for certain events. The car park and adjacent field is also used for summer fund raising activities.It is a meeting place for the community.

The principal activities of the educational charitable trust are to maintain Gilbert White's House & Garden in Selborne, with associated Field Studies Centre, as a visitor attraction & Accredited museum. We engage with people of all ages & abilities to promote enjoyment & exploration of our heritage through our exhibitions, collections, learning & education programme, outreach & access policies.

Blue Box Belper supports residents of the Parks Estate and surrounding area to improve the quality of their lives. The Gloucestershire Playing Fields Association, founded in 1926, provides small grants and loans, technical advice and support to it's members - town & parish councils, sports clubs and other community organisations. The Association's aims are to help protect, improve and promote active use of parks, playgrounds and playing fields across the counties of Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire.

A self managed allotment association providing horticulture facilities for current and new members. Raised beds are provided for members with mobility impairment or other disabilities. Support for local groups , including the Scout or Guide Associations by providing space for activities within the allotment site. Fund raising support for other charities e.g. Macmillan Cancer Support.
