We use our community minibus to help socially isolated older people in this very rural part of the North York Moors. Public transport is sparse and not easily accessible. We run outings to lunches, shopping, cinemas, theatres, concerts, coffee mornings, garden centres and other places of interest. In addition we have weekly swimming trips. These people are thus able to be part of the community.

Furthering the objects of the Charity

We are a group of volunteers responsible for the maintenance of the village playing fields, pavilion and children's play equipment, with full responsibility for replacement when needed. We organise various fund raising activities throughout the year to help pay for repairs and renewals.

We provide access to the Medieval Landbeach Tithe Barn and its surrounding green space. We offer free or low cost entry to our open days, events, talks and education visits. Access is open to all. Our aim is to provide a sustainable future for the Tithe Barn, so that it generates its own income for its ongoing maintenance and community use.

Establish and maintain the National Waterfront Museum Swansea. Enhance, preserve and maintain buildings and land for the benefit of the public. Enhance and maintain public open space in the vicinity of the museum. Promote the objects of the charity.

To encourage participation by people of all ages and abilities in garden related activities that are creative, sociable, educational, healthy and promotes wellbeing.

Fund raising to support the work of Bantock House, Museum and Gardens in Wolverhampton

We have converted an 10-acre site into a public park, with a wildlife area, wildflower meadow, picnic area and play area. There is also a community orchard and allotment, and on-site parking. There is a wildlife area, and many individuals and families use the park for exercise and relaxation. We put on a number of activities, such as an Easter Egg Hunt and an Apples and Pears Day in the autumn.

Managing and maintaining the Millennium Green to keep it safe for public use

Trustees of the Barlow Charity are responsible to the inhabitants of Mattishall through the Parish Council for the provision, maintenance and development of 10 affordable homes, a village green and developing the site of the old school building.

To promote for the benefit of the public the conservation, protection and improvement of thephysical and natural environment of Glade Trust Nature Reserve .To advance the education of the public in the conservation, protection and improvement of thephysical and natural environment, natural history and practical outdoor activities, particularly in the Kirkby Fleetham area.

Hall hire for functions and garden fete annually

The trust's purpose is to create and maintain Allington Millennium Green, which includes 'natural' areas where people can enjoy Nature and wildlife at first hand. It is intended to be a semi-wild area, where visitors can simply walk and sit, with no provision for formal recreation of any kind. There is a huge diversity of wild plants on the Green, and it is the richest habitat in this area.

The Woodland Park Community Group owns and manages a 4-acre community woodland at Pilands Wood, Bursledon, Southampton, UK. Public access is encouraged for recreational puposes on foot.

CMGT owns the Millennium Green at Claremont Rd & The Vale, NW2. The Green is used by local residents, schools and other parties for environmental and recreational activities. Maintenance is provided by volunteers. In 2009, our Trust Deed, was modified with approval of Natural England and Charity Commission. CMG Ltd, is now sole trustee. All previous Trustees were released from personal liability.

The charity spends one Sunday every month looking after the Eye Town Moors doing thyings like mowing, pruning, litter picking and scything.

The Society was formed in 1965 to establish a circle of friends of Towneley Hall. The aim is to help stimulate public interest in the Hall and to protect, preserve and enhance the amenities of the Hall (and gardens). There are also social events at Christmas and Easter. These raise money to provide amenities for the Hall.

Promotion and maintenance of a Millennium Green field in the village of Nether Poppleton

The creation and maintenance of a more useable public open space. Volunteers of the trust work all year to maintain various aspects of the meadow and in particular the indigenous wildlife and fauna. The aim of the trustees is to provide a safe and comfortable environment in which to relax.

Arranging and staging 'Fun Family Days' in Boscombe Chine Gardens - Nature Trail, entertainment for all at Easter. Carols by Candlelight Procession at Christmas. Education/nature sesssions for local children. Making local people aware of the gardens, and enabling enjoyment thereof. Providing liason between public and council as to developments in the Gardens.
