To provide a community space for the social welfare of the residents of Gunnislake and surrounding area and therein to provide access to services, advice, information, social activities and companionship.

The Trust works closely with Plymouth Social Isolation Forum to find novel ways to bring isolated and lonely people together at Thorn Park Lodge. It also runs recall reminiscence sessions, practical science-based workshops, helps raise children's aspirations in novel ways. It has a pharmaceutical museum, library, a medicinal garden and is planning an exciting Heritage Health Science Exploratory.

PUBLIC PARK/OPEN SPACE

Overseeing the maintenance of the Orchard Millennium Green for the benefit of the Buckfastleigh Community.

The purpose of the charity is to preserve and manage an area of undeveloped land in the residential area of Woodcote, Epsom, Surrey. The charity is run and funded by local people in order to provide an area of land suitable for a variety of recreational uses, community events and the preservation of wildlife.

FoWSG was set up to help the local authority - Sefton MBC - to "Look after" the Waterloo Seafront Gardens. We encourage community activity by running regular gardening sessions and litter picks, and also running and hosting events. We want to maintain the gardens in good condition, as an attractive and safe area for all ages and abilities to use for recreation and enjoyment.

Harvington Hall, a fascinating moated Elizabethan manor complete with gardens and a unique malt house, attracts over 20,000 visitors a year who enjoy its peace and learn about its significant role as a place of refuge during the turbulent penal times of the 17th century.
