Edible York supports public gardens for growing vegetables, fruit and herbs, with produce available for anyone to pick. Each Autumn EY organises Abundance to pick and distribute fruit.The charity holds regular events for anyone as an individual or member of a gardening group, such as talks, workshops and visits.The trustees provide information and mentoring to new gardening groups.

We have created and maintain a wildlife garden close to the centre of Morpeth. It provides a haven for residents and visitors. Development and maintenance is organised by the Trustees with the help of a group of Friends.It is also used by local schools from time to time and by the Cubs, Scouts and Guides. Each June we hold fund raising Garden Fete.

We hold work sessions for volunteers on Saturday and Wednesday mornings to improve facilities,involving gardening, woodland management, drainage work and path clearing.We organise walks led by experts e.g. Butterflies, Bats, Fossils, Birds, Horticulture and Historytogether with Easter egg, Snowman and Halloween trails for children in school holidays plus 'carol andcakes' and other events.

The charity exists to maintain, fundraise for and legaly account for the Rolt Millennium Green in St James, Shaftesbury, Dorset.

The Charity owns land that is primarily let as allotments and grazing land. The rent from this land is distributed to elderly people in Kilsby at Christmas time.

We have restored a Grade 2 listed Victorian Walled Garden within the grounds of the medieval Ramsey Abbey. The garden is a visitor attraction and we maintain the garden by growing flowers, fruit and vegetables . We have a beautiful 33m Victorian style glasshouse. All work is done by volunteers.

The Society organises an annual Music Festival of mostly competitive classes held in 3 or 4 venues in the seaside town of Hornsea over a period of either 3 or 4 days. It is held during the first week of July. Fund raising social events such as Coffee Mornings and Garden Parties may be held at other times throughout the year.
