We care for Chiswick's Millennium statue & support Hogarth's House through fund-raising & input to events & exhibitions. Our advisory panel shares expertise with the Hounslow Council/the Hogarth's House Trust team, with whom we worked on the Mulberry Garden Project to build a learning studio & create a new "exhibition garden" with planting and replica pet memorials, completed in 2022

To provide allotments for the parishioners of Romsley and local areas

Set up to lead volunteer gardening sessions in Arlington Garden. We bring volunteers together monthly to undertake maintenance and improvements in the garden to enable the garden to be used by local residents and visitors. We arrange fundraising activities to enable purchase of tools for gardening and provide other amenity items.

OWNERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT OF ANCIENT WOODLAND CALLED COCK'S CROFT WOOD.

We have been tidying up the cemetery and resetting some of the headstones and arranging with the local High School to create a memorial garden and wildlife garden and they are going to photograph and record the monumental inscriptions (MIs).

Working under the guidance of the local authority FoSP enhances the benefits of accessing green spaces by getting people involved in activities and volunteer days that it runs eg. gardening, ecological walks, litter picks, small scale events There are also benefits via community engagement which can improve cohesion in the local community by bringing them together to enjoy activities together.

Parish Allotments

Income accrues annually through investment of 889.75 Charities Investment Fund Income Shares and is distributed to pensioners of the village each Christmas. Expenses incurred are for secretarial work and postage at ?10 per year.
