Provision of a recreation ground

The original intent of the CIO was to renovate Woodmancote Parish Hall for use by parishioners. This Hall has been sold by Henfield Parish (September 2020) as renovation was too costly. The CIO has now established that the Parish Council has committed an area of land on the Parish Playing Field by a lease allowing the CIO to build a new Hall. Current funds held will now be used for this purpose.

Establish and run a recreation ground and community centre and to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Aldingbourne ("area of benefit") the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure timeoccupation for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving theconditions of life of the said inhabitants.

Provision of facilities including football pitches, playing fields, bowling green, indoor skittles and multipurpose rooms.Health and wellbeing promotional activities to encourage local people to become more active and develop healthy lifestyles. Development of sports education, particularly for children and young people.

For the benefit of the inhabitants of Lytchett Minster and Upton the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances in the interests of social welfare and improving the condition of life of said inhabitants.

The Udney Park Community Fields Foundation has been set up with the purpose of acquiring the Udney Park Playing Fields and guaranteeing them as playing fields for community sport in perpetuity.

Providing facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the condition of life for the inhabitants of Risinghurst, Sandhills and the surrounding area. For public enjoyment, health, wellbeing and amenity. This is done through providing sport pitches, pathways, maintaining a woodland, recreational items and play equipment.

Wheldrake Recreation Association is the charity which runs the village hall and playing field. It is run by a committee of volunteer trustees, with the aim of providing recreation facilities for the people of Wheldrake

The objects of the CIO which are for the public benefit, are specifically restricted to the following:a) the management of playing fields located at Beechfields, off Langham Grove, Timperley WA15 6DY. b) the provision of equipment on those playing fields for the use of the general public; c) the maintenance of those playing fields, their equipment and their facilities.

The Charity provides and maintains a sports ground and children's play facility. The premises include a sports hall, bar, changing rooms, sports field, tennis courts & bowling green. The facilities are designed for use by sports clubs, but are available for informal public recreation when not in use by clubs. The Charity also runs Copmanthorpe Carnival, a fund raising event.

The provision and maintenance of playing fields and recreation grounds for the use of the inhabitants of Bradford on Avon, in the interests of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life, mental and physical health and wellbeing.

The objects of the CIO are to establish and run a village hall and recreation ground and to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Tetbury, Tetbury Upton and surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation, sport or other leisure time occupation of individuals and groups.

Provision and maintenance of recreation grounds and a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Buckden and surrounding area without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants, including use for:i. meetings, lectures and classes, andii. other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation
