The objects of St Albans School Woollam Trust are to provide and maintain playing fields and other recreational facilities for the pupils of St Albans School.In addition the trust aims to provide playing fields in sufficient number and of the highest standard to encourage participation in sporting events at all levels. The provision and maintenance of a recreation ground for the benefit of children and young persons who have not reached the age of 25 years and are resident in the Borough of Southend-on-Sea.

The provision and the maintenance of the community centre and recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of Dinnington, and the surrounding neighbourhood.

The Trust was formed in 1882 covering 28 acres of park land in central Keswick, Cumbria adjoining the river Greta. A new scheme was drawn in 1995 and management of the Parks is now the responsibility of Keswick Town Council as sole trustee.

Provision of housing accommodation for those living within the area of benefit; provision and maintenance of amenity land to be used for recreation; making grants or providing goods, services or facilities to relieve beneficiaries who are in need, hardship or distress; making grants for the general benefit of inhabitants of the area of benefit.

Children's play equipment and maintaining a play area for young people.

The charity provides sporting and recreational facilities to the local community. These facilities consist of two football grounds, cricket ground, four tennis courts, MUGA - multi use games area with flood lights, two squash courts and a two badminton court size sports hall. The complex also has a lounge bar and fitness suite.
