A village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Askerswell without distinction of political, religous or other distinctions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure occupation with the object of improving the conditiions of life for the said inhabitants.

The charity aims to continuously update and improve facilities at Burroughes Hall in order to meet health, safety and access requirements. The hall is regularly decorated to encourage individuals, groups and other charities to use the facility. To do this the committee organises fundraising events throughout the year and obtains grants.

SERBIAN ORTHODOX COMMUNITY HOUSE FOR WALES AND MONMOUTHSHIRE - Serbian Orthodox Community and Church serving the Serbian Orthodox Community by providing religious services and community meetings, get togethers.
