Rountons Village Hall provides a venue for meetings, events, private parties, lectures and classes, for education, social welfare, recreation and leisure time occupation for the benefit residents of East and West Rounton and adjoining parishes. The village hall is a Grade II listed Arts & Crafts building.

General charitable purposes; maintaining a building where the community can congregate, or where community activities (such as elections, parish council meetings, fitness classes or church events) can take place. We also organise five or six events each year to bring the community together.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall and playing field for use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Appleshaw and the surrounding area in the interests of social welfare for recreational leisure time with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants:

Maintain the fabric of the village hall so that it can be used (for rent) by organisations and individuals in the area, this includes holding some fund raising events which enables the Village Hall rent to be maintained at realistic levels for small groups.

To provide support for individuals and groups within the parish of Sheepwash. Recent examples are support for the local primary school to buy educational equipment & a xmas box for the pensioners in the parish- a xmas party for the children and a social outing for the village. The community shop, the village hall, and places of worship are also supported.
