Kent Cancer Trust aims to relieve the suffering of cancer patients and improve the provision of cancer care within Kent, particularly but not exclusively by developing and training medical staff, by promoting research into cancer leading to the development of new treatments and diagnostic aids and by educating the public in the cause and treatment of the disease.

We provide local patients with incurable breast cancer a place to meet and be supported. Funds are used to improve patients situations either through their support group meetings, days out to spend time with their families and loved ones or with a helping hand.

Jack's Journey supports Cumbrian families who have received a cancer diagnosis and are currently, or have recently finished, cancer treatment. This is through financial grant making, but also through smaller gifts to aid their time in hospital.In addition, Jack's Journey provides holiday accommodation for families from across the north who are currently, or recently finished, cancer treatment.

Supporting children and thier families suffering from Cancer

OurBrainBank is an an innovative, patient-led movement designed to move glioblastoma (GBM) from terminal to treatable, powered by patients. It's the first non-profit created by, for, and with people with GBM, a rare and deadly brain cancer whose 5-year survival rate is 5%. Our Founder and Chair, Jessica Morris, a British national living in the US, was disgnosed with GBM in January 2016.

Providing a telephone help line for those diagnosed with or suffering from prostate cancer, their families and friends, holding monthly open meetings for such people at which health and other relevant professionals give talks on this cancer, its treatment and impact, followed by opportunities for discussion with new and existing members; raising money for new medical equipment for Kent hospitals.

We are an independent & voluntary organisation and charity, providing caring & support in a homely & friendly environment to help and support people affected by cancer, their families & carers.

We undertake "Challenges" in which the challengers are sponsored to help raise funds towards those who are touched with cancer. The aim of the charity is to relieve the needs of families and carers of children living in the UK who have been diagnosed with cancer, by offering much needed respite, to create a positive experience and the chance to make memories together.

We aim to provide gifts or experiences to the siblings of children undergoing cancer treatment. Those siblings are often isolated and confused with such extreme circumstances and upsets to their normal family life. This can quite dramatically affect family and sibling bonds for some time. Our purpose is to give then a treat to make them feel still valued and important within the family.

The supply of fabulous gifts delivered in a beautiful bag to chemotherapy and radiotherapy patients. Bags may be sold online in the future. The bags will be gifted to chemotherapy centres around the south west of England initially with the idea of branching out across the UK in the future. A lot of people are suffering with diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, HIV/AIDS, hepatitis-c, diabetes and cancer. These diseases are gaining epidemic proportions in the region and people cannot afford the treatment. Our aim is to help with treatment.

Provision of person centered holistic support/care in Norfolk, who are experiencing distress or having difficulties living independently,including people experiencing mental health problems; learning difficulties;life changing illness; older persons, including support to individuals who have been diagnosed with life changing illnesses such as cancer, to promote wellbeing and assist recovery.

The Trust supports causes both in the UK and abroad, specifically, but not limited to Dorset, where the founding family are based. The main function of the PCSA(CE) is to raise public awareness concerning prostate cancer, support men and their loved ones through meetings, establish a number of small local support groups, campaign for effective screening and where circumstances allow, carry out PSA (blood) tests.

Inbetweenears raises money to help young adults from 18 to 40 who have brain tumours. The charity raises awareness of this dreadful disease and contribute some of the money raised to Brain Tumour Research.

The Friends of St Andrews (FOSA) are volunteers who coordinate a year round programme of activities to raise funds to support educational and local community activities and projects. Each year the FOSA work towards raising funds for a school/community project as well as an external charity. The 2020/21 selected charity is "The Brain Tumour Charity".
