LYMPHOMA UK aims to improve the lives of those affected by lymphoma blood cancer by providing grants to medical researchers who undertake clinical cancer trials to see which treatments are most effective at treating the disease.

To provide funds to organisations that exist to provide help and support to those affected by Cancer in the area served by the Abbeyview Surgery Crowland.

We have fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Care by holding coffee mornings. The charity collect clothing and food for the homeless. Youth programs and activities take place.

The Joe Gilligan Trust exists to support and improve the lives of teenagers and young adults fighting Cancer. As Joe was a drummer, the trust also provides performance opportunities for young musicians for example - gigs, shows & professional mentoring. The majority of our fundraising is through music and the performing arts.

The trustees have allocated all available funds for each of these heads Religion, Parenting, Homeless, Third World, the Arts and disabled and will not consider unsolicited applications. Kevin Kararwa Leukaemia Trust creates public awareness and understanding of leukaemia and other bone cancers. We do this through public education. the main activities are done through workshops, outreach, roadshows, publications, communications through social media. We also undertake contacts with main service providers so as to influence policy.

Organising fund raising events such Race Nights, Michaelmas Fayre, Easter Egg Raffles, Fun Train Rides, and a Loan Scheme for Medical Appliances such as Wheel Chairs, Commodes, Walking Frames etc. The proceeds from which are donated to National and Local Charities such as:- Teenage Cancer Trust, Essex Air Amulance, Helen Rollason Cancer Charity, Lions International Appeals and others.

The Market House is a volunteer run centre working to alleviate rural isolation and deprivation offering the disadvantaged, access to language classes for Migrant workers, a Food Bank distribuition centre both run by Market House Volunteers , access to District Council Customer Services, Citizens Advice Service, adult education opportunities and community groups. It is a Macmillan Cancer Hub.
