Counselling and supporting people affected by cancer in the Isle Of Purbeck

The Cancer Club is dedicated to bringing men with advanced stage cancers together to enhance their wellbeing. Our mission is to get men talking through an online community and by taking them to a variety of sporting events where they can connect over common experiences and gain emotional support from others "in the same boat".

We fund the installation of stair lifts, wheelchair ramps and other domestic aids for people diagnosed with cancer wishing to leave hospital. The Adam Rogers Trust provides grants and funding to: Relieve the needs and suffering of children with cancer. Relieve need and advance education for adults with learning difficulties and brain injuries.

Our mission is to create platforms to address barriers to early detection of breast cancer and support access to care, to empower women to seek help early and make timely informed decisions on their breast health. These include development of a mobile app and SMS service to help identify breast cancer symptoms and connect with care, podcast, and facilitate development of radiotherapy centres.

The Harry-Krish Mootoosamy Foundation aims to provide music therapy by making grants to organisations to support children and young people suffering from terminal or critical illness.We also aim to raise public awareness of the symptoms of Pancreatic Cancer.The Foundation is run by volunteers who are passionate about honoring the life of Harry-Krish Mootoosamy and these causes.

Our mission is to improve GP awareness and diagnosis of cancer. Jessica Brady CEDAR Trust is working closely with the DHSC. Currently, we are funding an online teaching programme for General Practice doctors to help raise awareness and improve earlier diagnosis of cancer. This training module has been devised and created by the Royal College of General Practitioners.

2019 is the 50th Anniversary year of Harrogate Male Voice Choir.We give some 10-12 concerts during the year to raise funds for national and local charities such as the Royal British Legion, the Marie Curie Charity and the Clock Charity at Thirsk. This has also included combining with choirs from all parts of the UK performing at the Royal Albert Hall to raise funds for Cancer Research UK.

"Love From Lucy" is a charity based in Hampshire, helping patients that have had a solid organ transplant up to the age of 21 years old, who are being treated in UK hospitals and develop Post Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder (PTLD) which is a rare cancer patients can develop at any stage after their transplant.

We target our grants toward non-profit organisations and non animal testing research.

We operate within Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire and provide a support group for people living with prostate cancer. Currently we have around 30 members. We also work to raise awareness of prostate cancer within the local community. We liaise with PCUK & John Van Geest Cancer Research Centre. We are developing an App with Trent University to raise awareness. We are working with GMB Union.

The Charity aims to improve cancer treatments and facilities for patients, carers and families within Essex and surrounding areas, through the funding of clinical trials and research at specialist facilities at Anglia Ruskin University. The trials and research will assist better access to the latest anti-cancer drugs, surgical techniques and complimentary treatments.
