Providing Blood Testing and general information about Prostate Cancer,arranging Awareness events to provide talks and handouts.

The objectives of the charity are:(1) advancing awareness of cancer in the local community in Leicester;(2) promoting and teaching the community how to identify signs and symptoms of cancer;

To distribute interest on the capital fund at the discretion of the trustees to charitable organisations carrying out research work into heart cancer arthritis rheumatism and other serious health complaints or to any other registered charity doing work for the relief of sickness

We provide help, support and friendship to women living with and beyond breast cancer. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month at 7pm at the Cancer Support Centre on Smith Lane. Meetings are lively social events with pamper sessions, talks, visits and cosmetic/clothes parties, but always with time to talk. Our big event of the year is the fashion show, when all women models are from the group.

The Charity's main current activities was that of making donations to Cancer care.

The relief of sickness within the St Helens and surrounding areas, among persons who are or have been affected by cancer and their carers, by the provision of support, information and such other means as the trustees shall from time to time determine.

Sending Cancer patients and their family members to sporting events to create positive memories. Funds are raised through events and merchandise sales.

The relief of sickness and the promotion of good health, and the fostering, encouragement, development, study, promotion of and research into the causes, treatment, avoidance of and cure for disease, especially cancer.

Breast Cancer Support Group meeting twice monthly. The group provides advise, help and simple treats for members, relatives, carers and newly diagnosed patients in hospital. We fundraise to make other group activities possible and liaise with the local hospital Trust to improve services for patients".

with Educare Foundation have offered help and support to different organizations by using Health care professionals to give Presentations on, Ovarian Cancer and Breast Cancer. The organization engaged in a Multi Media Project with the local community. was involved in a community project for Black History Month. Educare has promoted social care alongside health awareness in the community.

The object of the charity is to support cancer research.The sole activity of the charity remains the donating of funds to the Imperial Cancer Research Fund thereby benefiting the research of cancer treatments.

Supporting children and their families going through their cancer diagnosis and treatment. This by means of providing facilities for recreation, financial assistance (small grants), emotional and practical advice. Providing help and assistance to Oncology wards, children's hospice (oncology patients).

Caring Cancer Trust funds ethical original non-animal tested Cancer Research into Cancer Prevention, Treatment and Cure, through its Stop Cancer UK programme. The Charity also provides Youth2Go Healing Holidays of Creative Adventure for children recovering from cancer to renew their self-confidence and joy of life after the trauma of their life-threatening illness.

Our work centers around delivering community assistance on many levels. Our services include help for sick children diagnosed with cancer, giving support through our business Statement clothes. The Regeneration project supports people with diverse backgrounds to grow their talents through creative arts, music, dance and drama programs. We run business startup training, counsel and mentor programs

Uganda Cancer Trust UK is a UK based charity raising money to support cancer treatment, education and care in Uganda. Our work focuses on:1. supporting individuals in extreme circumstances where treatment costs far exceed the ability to pay; and 2. building partnerships between UK and Ugandan based organisations working with cancer sufferers to share knowledge and increase capacity.

The GMPMVC gives concerts throughout the UK but mainly within the GMP area. By invitation, it has also sung in the EU.The Choir has been privileged to assist in raising many thousands of pounds for organisations and charities such as Scope, The Rainbow Trust, The Deep Sea Fishermen's Mission, Rochdale Springhill & Bury Hospices, Cancer Research UK as well as local churches and schools.

Our aims are to provide support, information and help to all men with prostate cancer, their families and carers and was formed so that they can meet together to find out more about their illness and what treatment or support is available to them. ESPCSG is run entirely by volunteers and operates from the NHS Hospital Trust, Ipswich, for all prostate cancer patents in their catchment area.

A self managed allotment association providing horticulture facilities for current and new members. Raised beds are provided for members with mobility impairment or other disabilities. Support for local groups , including the Scout or Guide Associations by providing space for activities within the allotment site. Fund raising support for other charities e.g. Macmillan Cancer Support.

We give men the opportunity to talk to others who have been through the experience of diagnosis and treatment for prostate cancer, encourage men with cancer or symptoms of prostate disease to become better informed and able to discuss and make decisions about their treatment, and work with other agencies to improve awareness, education, diagnosis, therapy and support for men with prostate cancer.

Under the KDFAS' Young Arts scheme, the society has wholly or partly funded a variety of projects involving local schools and one with a young offenders? institution. The Society also donated funds to a local charity which works with children undergoing cancer treatment in hospital so that they could buy art materials. The amounts involved were ?1,363 (2015); ?1,237 (2014); and ?550 (2013).
