Cherem is a remote village in the Nepal Himalaya. Da Gombu Sherpa was born here and co founded the project that helps develop education, health and well being in the village. Gombu was a great mountaineer. He died of Cancer in Dec 2011. The Leadership of Cherem village lies now with the Cherem Youth Society that Gombu helped to form before his passing established in kathmandu 2068 B.S. 2011.

The Foundation does not seek donations from outside sources. Its income is derived solely from sources associated with the Trustees, mainly J.S. Arthur, one of the original Trustees. Various amounts are donated to other charities, but recently the predominant donations have been to the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity to research a specific form of Breast Cancer and the Hospice movement.

To promote and protect the physical health of sufferers of coronary heart disease, diabetes, smoking, oral cancer and tobacco chewing in health care through the provision of support, education and practical advice. Provide health awareness events at community settings and range of health related literature and information.

The Tom Grahame Trust was set up in memory of Tommy Grahame who died in December 2006 from a brain tumour, aged 6. Previously the Trust funded 'Tom's Gift' which was a present for every child in the UK with a malignant brain tumour and research into childhood brain tumours. Now the The Trust manages a playground at Clyro Church in Wales Primary School.

The charity's aims are to focus on (a) raising awareness of stomach cancer (b) supporting research into stomach cancer and (c) assisting people or their family in the local area who may have received a cancer diagnosis. We raise money by hosting charity nights, runs, raffles.
