Helping older people in the parish of Borrowash and Ockbrook, Derbyshire, to live independent lives thereby increasing their confidence and self-esteem and reducing isolation and social exclusion and improving relationships across the community and ensuring that they are better informed about their physical and mental health, welfare benefits and wider social opportunities.

In a safe and informal setting we encourage families to work together and be creative. Arts and Crafts, Drama and music are some of the activities children look forward to participating in. Healthy snacks and beverages are provided. There is no emphasis on cancer or death. We are an open group and children can share as little or as much as they like with their peers.

13 projects have been set up aimed at specified groups. These can be summarised as follows: - Groups for those with mental health issues, elderly , physical and/or learning disabilities, at risk (of exploitation or discrimination) . We offer inclusive weekly dance, exercise, theatre or singing classes, with wellbeing sessions encouraging open discussions being a key addition to the Mental Health

The ACE Project supports young people in Suffolk aged 16-24 who are suffering with mental health difficulties. We provide weekly wellbeing workshops, fitness sessions and 1:1 support to help young people Achieve, Connect and Enjoy for wellbeing.

We organise several outings each year for our visually-impaired members, hold monthly social evenings, with talks and quizzes, and arrange regular hydrotherapy sessions for interested members. We run an advice line & offer support to our members as well as a drop-in information service at our offices.

We support deaf children & their families living in Oxfordshire. We provide assistance for the deaf child & their families either directly or by providing social and entertainment initiatives.

Access Theatre is a company for adults with learning disabilities and a range of physical and sensory impairments. We meet weekly at Launceston Town Hall for drama and dance activities and regularly produce high-quality public performances . The members are supported by volunteers. We employ an experienced professional dance/theatre practitioner. New members are always welcome.

HearSay provides professional counselling to children, adolescents, adults and families affected by a range of impairing conditions such as mental illness, behavioural or emotional problems, arising from physical and/or sensory disabilities, or other disabilities, including Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). It is based in Maidstone, Kent.

Run Memory Cafe sessions: All Thursdays of each month between 2.00-4.00pm. LARF CONTINUES TO RECEIVE COLLECTIONS & DONATIONS FROM THE PUBLIC, LOCAL BUSINESSES & LOCAL SCHOOLS WITH ANNUAL EVENTS NOW IN PLACE. LARF SELLS MERCHADISE ONLINE & IN LOCAL SHOPS WHICH BRINGS AWARNESS FOR THE CHARITY.WE SUPPORT RCHT TRELISKE BY FUNDING EXTRA NURSING HOURS FOR TEENAGERS & YOUNG ADULTS GOING THROUGH CANCER TREATMENT IN CORNWALL.

To promote and protect good health by providing education on issues such as teenage pregnancy, illegal drugs, tobacco and alcohol abuse through theatrical art, workshops and such other charitable means as the trustees deem fit

Provides practical and emotional support and assistance to breast cancer patients and their families. Our Counsellors offer help on a voluntary basis at the same time as working along side the professionals at the local hospital. We also offer a help line service.

We provide a support network for patients with thymic cancers. We also advocate on their behalf.
