Islas journey provides initial and ongoing support to families in Neonatal units and beyond. We supply care packages to units across the U.K. and offer continued online and face to face, non medical support whenever it is needed. We pride ourselves in being able to boost mental well being for both families and staff when faced with challenging times.

CA Sussex CIO is a group of men and women who work together to solve their common problem, the illness of addiction. Our primary purpose is to stay free from cocaine and all other mind-altering substances, and to help others achieve the same freedom. The means by which we recover is a 12 step programme of recovery.

Our group aim is to encourage both physical & mental stimulation of stroke survivor members, through light exercise & social interaction, where members can grow in confidence and improve their quality of life and that of the family members.

Support people who are affected and infected with HIV/AIDS including children orphaned by Aids. Relief of poverty and advance knowledge and skills to disadvantaged communities. The object of the Charity is to :-- Provide assistance to registered blind and partially sighted people within the areas of the City & County of Swansea and Neath & Port Talbot, by making grants of money or providing items, services or facilities.- Consult with blind and partially sighted people in the local area as to their needs and ensure that media is available in an appropriate format.

We are an Associate Library completely run by volunteers. We have a number of activities ie a knit and natter group, a golden oldie coffee morning, toddlers story time, a mental health group and a Russian speaking group who all have weekly meetings in the library.

Since COVID-19, we have been delivering physical health exercises and health talks and advice on ZOOM with the financial help from the Community Lottery Fund . Our charity exists to deliver practical support and advice in the following, Healthy eating, High blood pressure, Diabetes, Cancer, Depression, mental health. Our charity exists to reduce isolation and improve the health of older adults.

The Sri Lanka Christian Association raises funds by staging various concerts, dances, fashion shows, etc. and also with the collection monies at our Annual Carol Service we help the poor and needy, especially children and other groups, including the aged, blind, orphanages, and various others who are unable to make a living in Sri Lanka.

The Neonatal Society was founded in 1959 to bring together scientists and clinicians with an interest in the fetus and newborn. The object of the Society is the promotion of Neonatal Science. McCance travel bursaries are available to support researchers who would otherwise be unable to attend the Society's meetings in the UK. The Society hosts four annual commemorative lectures.

We are a not for profit charity whose aims are to provide a counselling/psychotherapy service (Talking Therapy) in the local community. We help with a number of problems such as Bereavement, ADHD, Domestic violence,Anxiety and Stress etc. In addition we help homeless people before and after they are discharged from hospital. Established in 2013. We have one full time worker plus volunteers..

Sportin MS was set up on 1st September 2019, as a small interest charity to raise funds to assist in the support and care of persons suffering from Multiple Sclerosis or in need of rehabilitation as a result of such illness.

We promote the treatment and care of persons suffering from oesophageal or stomach cancer and to provide support to those caring for such persons or who are affected by oesophageal or stomach cancer amongst their families or friends.

To relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship, who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused by mental ill health and disabilities. The advancement of education and to provide and maintain facilities for the benefit of the community of Croydon and the surrounding neighbourhood which facilities may include childcare services, recreation, counselling and meetings.

The FiiT for Life programme will provide physical activity opportunities and education in England, Scotland and Wales for people who are at risk of or have been/are affected by cancer and associated chronic diseases by providing access to specialist physical activity programmes to improve health and fitness, quality of life and well-being.

Hastings and Rother Samaritans is one of over 200 Samaritans branches in the UK. We provide emotional support to anyone who is lonely, depressed or suicidal. We do this by replying to phone calls and emails, and will introduce instant messaging soon. We are located at 26 St. Andrew's Square, Hastings. Our volunteers also visit schools, talk to prisoners and provide support across our community.

We hold fundraising Drag Themed events to help us provide financial support to people and their families living with cancer. Money raised is given to our beneficiaries in the form of grants ranging from £100 - £500, depending on circumstance; to support them with living costs, travel, medication, household goods, a treat away or other such items that in some way relieve additional distress.
