The Ben McNicol Trust raises funds to support the ongoing use of it's property 'Ben's House' for children undergoing cancer treatment. The accommodation is located near to a specialist children's cancer hospital (the Royal Marsden Sutton). We are involved in various fundraising projects in order to achieve this goal. As a small charity, we work to raise awareness of the ongoing issues concerning mental illness in East Africa, mainly Uganda. This includes the trustees allowing visiting guests to share in different locations as to the situation concerning them, and information that can be shared to increase our knowledge of the topic. Our activities are mainly financial as we work to sponsor children in Uganda.

We are creating support networks and activities for those whose loved ones have dementia. Activities include crafts, general social activities and walks.

It is DEAFvibe's belief that all Deaf (BSL), Deaf with Speech, Hard of Hearing, Deafened and Deafblind people should be treated equally and with respect; that access to information & communication is provided without barriers or prejudice; and to promote equal participation and opportunities in life. Access to Communication is a vital need to have a sense of belonging and inclusion in society.

The trustees job is to look after Longlevens Village Hall so that it is a pleasant clean and tidy place for groups or individuals to hire. We have regular users i.e. WI's, cubs, brownies and dancing classes. Also single hire for sales, quizzes, birthday and anniversary parties and plays. We have an entertainments license, but no alcohol licence. We hold a joint PPL/PRS licence.

Timeout is based in Coventry and offers free and low-cost counselling.Our counsellors have experience in many areas of need ? gender identity, sexuality, anxiety, bereavement, hurts from the past, low self-esteem, depression, marriage difficulties and so forth. Counsellors are all trained or are currently in training and are registered with a counselling-accreditation body such as BACP or UKCP.

The Charity run regular events aimed a supporting those living with dementia, their carers, family and friends. The specific events are: Three monthly forget-me not cafes - one each in Edenbridge; Sevenoaks and Westerham. A monthly Forget-me-note singing group in Sevenoaks.

Its activities include support groups, life skills training, counselling, community outreach team, adolescent corners in community clinics, Zvandiri House training and support centre and the development and distribution of child-friendly resource materials for HIV positive children and teenagers.

Providing advice, information and counselling on education, health matters, housing, interpreting and translating, social welfare, training and employment opportunities, after school club/home work, holidays and summer playsheme, trips for these African people in Leeds. - Drugs and alcohol awareness, sexually transmitted diseases, interpreting/translating and social behaviour.

Badger Lodge runs a Holiday Home at plot 829, Cherry Tree Holiday Park, Parkdean Holidays (UK) Ltd, Burgh Castle, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk. NR31 9QR for the use of people with Multiple Sclerosis. It is funded by the people using it and overseen by Trustees

The trust provides grants to Charities in connection with improving the quality of life of persons in the United Kingdom suffering from visual handicaps, hearing impairment, terminal illness and the alleviation of poverty in other countries. Where practicable and reasonable the trustees pay such funds to Roman Catholic organisations.

Collection for other charities. Supporting local Centre for the Blind by holding our coffee mornings and committee meetings there

Activities include a supply of homemade cakes on a weekly basis to the Injured and sick Military in Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, with monthly visits to the Rehabilitation Centre at Stanford Hall. along with other rehabilitation units Hasler company, CASEVAC Club and wherever else invited to support our injured personnel. Bringing a boost to morale to aid physical & Mental health recovery.

The Kallipateira Moorhouse Foundation will increase the awareness of Stillbirth, support parents who have experienced the death of a baby and support research to help reduce the numbers of babies who die during pregnancy or birth.

We offer: - A counselling service provided by trained Christian counsellors for adults and children. - A confidential and safe environment where people can explore life issues such as bereavement, depression, low self esteem and confidence, moderate anxiety states, anger, abuse, trauma and couples. - Help to individuals as they work through these issues towards constructive change

Memory cafes, also known as dementia cafes, provide safe spaces where people can go for a cup of tea and chat with experienced professionals or others affected by dementia. There are also games, quizzes and craft sessions which those attending can take part in along with outside speakers who invited to give talks.

We provide advice and information, complementary therapy and counselling if required, a monthly newsletter and social outings. We are providing to members a specialised hospital passport for use in emergency admissions.
