The AUTP is an independent body, whose principal aim is to promote the effective learning and teaching of psychiatry to medical undergraduates in the medical schools of the UK and Ireland trhough educational meetings. We produce a talking newspaper for the blind and partially sighted in the local area as shown below. This is produced on a fortnightly basis on CD or cassette tape and sent out to our listeners. Currently inactive since start of Covid 19 outbreak in February 2020.

Formal and informal education projects, i.e drug and alcohol awareness, sexual health. Offer safe environment for young people to be socially educated, will undertake outings on various activities, ie bowling, ice skating etc. There is access to a pool table, computer equipment and enter competitions. We also intend to give the Young people of the area a voice with issues that affect their lives

Telford Mind works to promote recovery; aiming to provide high quality services for people who are experiencing mental health issues and/or emotional distress. It also offers support to people undertaking caring roles. It provides one to one support on a drop in basis and support through an outreach service. Telford Mind promotes well being.

The Mary Cross Trust has changed its name to Deafway (registered charity number 1089918).

The Commissioners directed in a letter dated 04 June 2003 that this Charity should be reported as part of Sense The National Deafblind and Rubella Association (Registered Number 289868). There have been no activities separately undertaken by this charity.

Provide and maintain a school and college

General support to children and young people suffering with cancer who have been treated at Birmingham Children's Hospital and their families.This support principally takes the form of information, refreshments in clinic, trips, outings and holidays, the latter being primarily at the Society's holiday caravan sited in Exmouth.These activities are supported by general fundraising.

Since 31/1/07 the charity has not been operational and most of the assets have been transferred to Maggies Cancer Caring Centre to carry on similar work in the future.
